out to a play

For those of you that have kids you will understand when I say: Friday we were childless. When this happens we often go out to eat and then come home in watch a movie and veg out in the peace and quiet. Usually on these nights I am dressed when at home. Well for a change I thought we would go out of town to eat and give my wife me in masculine presentation all night. We she had other ideas, and thought we should go out of town and find something to do other than shop, like a museum, art show, movie or something. Well I took lunch time to see what there was to do. Not a lot on this weekend it seemed, but there was two community plays. So we decide on the play and my wife asked if I was going home early to get ready. I told her I was planning a masculine night, and she responds that I should dress, and so we decide on enfemme.

So this was going to be the first time my wife went out with me in femme presentation this close to home, and I would be leaving our house for the first time in full femme in daylight.

Well other than running late we picked up tickets, and then stopped at a fast food place for something to eat quick. So much for a nice meal. And then back to the play. Everything went fine. No one seemed to notice me while eating that I seen, but my wife did the ordering.

At the play, we made a restroom stop on the way in and there was other gals in there but no one seemed to notice me their either. For the play we had people all around us and even went out for the intermission. There were people of all ages from 20's through retired and if anyone noticed me they did not lead on much. One of the ushers seemed to be looking at us some, but not sure if that was because they were slow as we got there just as the doors opened and there was not many of us there.

We had a nice evening.

Standard disclaimer: Going out of the house was right for me, it may or may not be right for you. If you've got no desire to leave the house, that's fine, I'm not trying to push you out the door. But for those who've been yearning to do so, I just want to let you know the world may not be as scary a place as you think.

What?? no pictures, wolfing down a Big Mac or Whopper?

See, we assume you dressed for the occassion, acted the part and you just blend right in and you know the magic required == smile!!!

Glad you had a nice time.

I remember a year of so ago going to a movie on a Saturday night. Crowded, very crowded and evidently two of the shows let out at the same time and here I was in the lobby of this ?multi-plex? theater, people pushing and shoving and I think I got pinched, but not real sure. I do remember getting oogled by one guy who gave me an "um um!!" as I walked by. Men are such pigs!!!!

Anyway, glad you had a good time!

I also bet it was nice that your wife suggested you dress even after you offered to go out masculine. I know that always makes it extra special when my wife suggests an outing.

Virginia is right. The three things to going out enfemm are

1. Act like you do this everyday
2. dress Appropriate
3. Smile

That is what I did when I went shopping for the first time, solo and in the daylight. No one payed any attention to me and I had the best time ever.

I am so glad that you had such a good evening out Kim, and you are very fortunate to have a wife that is accepting, and encouraged you to go as Kim.

It was also very good that you were able to enjoy the evening out as Kim, be able to be one of the ladies and accepted by all.

DonnaT, it is nice that we can have an good time and it not be a major point of tension.

Denise, I am very fortunate to have a wonder wife that tolerates this part of me.
