Definitely D. Did it at night a few times for the thrill (and was it ever!). I have an SUV, so gettting in in a ladylike manner was interesting. I knew enough to sit myself down and swing my legs gracefully into the car, but having to add that little boost up was nice. Getting out was interesting too. Fortunately I was able to practice in my garage without the fear of flashing my panties at my neighbors :)

driving in Heels

Post by Jean Marie »

My answer would be yes, I drive almost everytime I am out enfemme which is usually about twice week. Since I only wear heels when out dressed, I have grown quite used to the differences even though I do not wear extra high heels 3 in is max. for me. Jean Marie

I have driven dressed twice so far, each time from a support group meeting driving an also dressed friend home.

I usually drive to the meeting in drab, change there, and change back after the meeting before driving home.

My friend usually gets a ride there from someone else but I frequently give them a ride home.

So far it's been twice that I didn't feel like changing back into drab to drive home.

I guess I have to say all of the above. I recall wearing heels while driving to work just to get used to them, remembering to take them off when I got there  . So yes, other times fully dressed with heels, but as others have said, flats are more practical…then put your heels on when you get where you’re going. Big exception to that though…if you’re going to valet parking, wear easy to change into heels since you don’t want to fuss a lot getting out of the car and delay the parking guys. BTW, a girl told me the reason heel straps buckle on the outside of your ankle (harder for me to do than inside) its so the buckles or straps don’t run your stockings!!!! Makes sense to me. Of course, if you can scam your SO into doing the driving...no problem at all

Driving en femme at night on long drives is a fun way to pass the time but I don't wear heels ever, just sandals or running shoes which I use for walking.

At this point, what crossdresser has not? It's pretty much the norm for the large majority of us.
Crossdressing is lonely with no group of ladies to share this wonderful gift. Like GE, we bring good things to life!

driving in heels

Post by Rachel MacLaren »

I have driven several times, over the years, in heels. I only buy and wear low heels. ( about 1 1/2 in or less although I did get a pair of 3in once just for photos.
My most memorable trip was one from NC to Columbus, Ohio that my wife and I took. I drove the full distance wearing a below the knee dress with green and white vertical stripes. I carried a white handbag with shoulder strap and wore matching heels and thigh high stockings with garder belt.
Even with my wig and "Tootsie" glasses I was afraid to get out of the car except for one time when we parked at the far end of a parking lot so I could stretch my legs.
Thanks for the poll. Reading replies has been fun.

B, D, F & G, which is not to imply that I go out very much anymore.

That reminds me, one time I was pretty much entirely en-femme but sans makeup, in a rented cargo truck, and darn-it, the chicken coups were open. It was pouring rain. Fortunately they just waived me through.

Twice since then I've been given the third degree (in Wyoming and in Kansas, thankfully in drab), so never again in a rental truck.

Yes, heel and toe-ing in high heels is a little too demanding for me. So I drive much more conservatively, and if there are any upskirt perverts out there when I am getting in or out of my low-slung two-seater, then they better just keep their mouths shut and their hands to themselves.

I do leave my 4" heels in the closet when driving. But of 25+ pair, there's only four pair that are that high.

Hugs,

Bernice

I have to say wow. When I started this I thought alot would have tried this at least, now it seems like EVERYONE here has at least tried it :)

My first time was a long time go in my first (and for the longest time only) pair of ladies shoes. Black with 2 1/2" heels. That pair wore out finally :(

Now I have 10 pairs from 1/2" heels to 4" heels. I plan on buying more as you can never have enough shoes right?

Though I am storing them on the shelf above the clothes and am running out of room.

Anyone here have you found a really good place to store your shoes? Any ideas are welcome :)

I'm an F, but more than just once. I've done it on a couple occasions. It was more thrill for me than anything else, as I don't wear make up or a wig (though the topic has come up recently between my SO and I), so someone looks in and they saw a guy in a dress and jet black nylons! I relished the looks, almost drove off the road once ..rofl..

I don't have any wigs but am growing my dirty blonde hair out again so I really want to take a drive dressed again. Not going anywhere just to drive around for awhile. :)
