My First Outing

Makeup off, since I only have some powder and lipstick I was able to remove this with some wipes. I can't wait to find some foundation or something that will hide my shadow. It is not a dark shadow or heavy beard, I just don't know where to start. Foundation? color? brand? I am really lost.

I haven't been around to post much in the last few days. Family issues.
I have to admit, I miss reading and posting here.

Wow these wonderful stories! I love the support and the advice.
I so want to go out again, but it will be a little harder now that my daughter moved back in.

I am wondering about a business trip in the future. I'm seriously thinking of bringing a few changes to go out and just drive around a bit en femme.
The advice given here is incredible.

I have light hair and a light beard so don't need to cover it up.... and I was using L'oreal paaste foundation which is light and easy to remove...

But I have switched to L'oreal Infalable foundation, it's more pigmented and covers better but harder to remove...

Most of the hair on my face is white or gray, so doesn't show up as a shadow. Thus light makeup and powder covers it very well.

I guess that is what I will try. Any tips on picking a color? I saw some thinks at Walmart where you put your hand under a clear plactic with tints on it. my hands are a few shades lighter than my face so that didn't work.

You will want something that is near your skin tone. If it is liquid foundation, place the bottle next to your skin and see how close it matches. Once you find one that matches, then get the powder in the same code. foundation will usually have a 3 digit code. Mine just happens to be a 105, so the powder is also a 105.
