Yes, Donna, you did point out a couple of shots for me to take, and those that didn't involve actually putting my own ball into the pocket (oh, yeah, I knew what you were doing!) I did take and with some decent success. I still wish I could win a game against the two of you - someday!!
We do hope that you'll be able to come down on Friday - why don't you invite your wife to come, too? I'd love to finally meet her, and I know that Nova said they always have lots of food. A quick heads-up with her and there should be no problem. Just an idea, anyway, and maybe you could take the SO to a quilt or fabric shop on Saturday?

Well, tomorrow's another TGIIFF night at Fielden's.
My wife asked what I wanted for my birthday, and I told her I wanted her to go with me, but she has to work. I doubt if she'd have gone anyway. She's not too happy I'm going, but hey, what else am I going to be doing at midnight on a Friday!?
So, Donna - - what's the "magic number" going to be this year? 39 and still holding?!? Seriously - I need to know how many candles to put on your cupcake!!
We're looking forward to seeing you again tomorrow night - and being able to celebrate your birthday with you, too!!
*Hugs*

I want to tell all my sisters here, Donna did look great! When SL and I got there (the club being private does not admit anyone until midnight) we usually park across the street in a Pleasant's Hardware parking lot which should have had numerous cars in it, but alas we could have parked right in front - as Donna did!!! but out of force of habit we parked in the lot. Anyway we walked in at about 12:30 and there were only about six of us there - very quiet! But as the night wore on, or the morning came on, depending on your point of view, it did get busy and when we left at about 3:15am (a new record for me) it was packed.
Had a great time, met some wonderful new folks, had some good cake and we are looking forward to the next "TGIIFF".
Love,
Virginia
First star to the right, then straight on 'till mornin!
Don't guess that SL and I will make it this time. We are planning on the EV (Equality Virginia) anniversary on the the 21st. I have been having trouble communicating with the marina where I keep my boat, so we are hopefully going to be able to take it out this weekend and it will run like it is supposed to!!!!
If you go, we do expect a full report!!!
Hope you are doing a lot better!!!
Love ya,

Nova Edwards, who’s worked the door at Fieldens since 2006, calls the change “outrageous.” Most troubling, she says, are rumors that a patron was removed early Sunday morning for twirling, or spinning around dancing - as if a bit too gay. Management says the customer was removed, as he had been previously, for other reasons.
Edwards also says that after the venue closed for renovations March 8 — Boyd’s team updated the notoriously grubby interior — she wasn’t given notice that when it reopened she’d be out of a job. “Everybody who used to be there is completely gone,” she says.
