This Halloween will be the first I will be able to celebrate in a while (you know got to get really for work) but now I looking to go full out. Tomorrow I am hoping to do some shopping with my mom and see if she can help me out. I realy am hopping to have help with makeup part of the costume one of the few CDing things I have yet to do.

I'm going to try for "The Lady In Red." Red blouse, red bra, red skirt, red garter belt, red stockings, red panties, red pumps. Now, if I only had a redhead wig... :-k Beauty, got a spare? :)

I told Lynn, the waitress at the corner restaurant, that she should expect me for breakfast on Saturday morning in that get-up. She hates the colour red. :P She doesn't believe I'll do it. But many of the regulars are encouraging enough (they're aware of my plans) that I'll certainly try. I guess it depends how late I turn in on Friday night.

Of course, if it does happen, I'll have my camera close by. 8)

CJ
Oh, very sexy, honey!!!

That should be a blast! Showing up in red... naughty genius! :mrgreen:

Hey Jessie, listen, no one would ever even THINK of saying anything unkind to you, okay? This is a friendly forum. Don't even worry about that. I am dead serious.

If any one ever said anything bad about your photos I would rip them a new one. ( just ask the mods how I get sometimes, LOL) :wink:

Hi all,

I don't know if I will be going anywhere for Halloween. There is a small group of adults that want to hand out treats at our church. I'm going to ask them if they will be in costume. If it's yes and I decide to join them, I can think of several choices:

Wear a 50's/60's outfit and be Brini Maxwell :) ;

Wear my red satin and lace bridesmaid dress and be one of Cinderella's step sisters;

Wear one of my formal mother of the bride dresses and be a mother-in-law (mother of the bride);

Be a church lady;

The most involved - be the old lady who just got ready for bed - put curlers on a wig, hairnet, nightgown, robe and slippers clashing with each other as much as possible, face covered with some kind of night cream, the yuckier looking the better.

Just a few ideas, but I claim dibs on Brini Maxwell!

Hi All--
I went looking for a nurse's uniform that I saw last year. It's cut sexy, but is way too short on me (I mean ridiculous, unwearable short).

There was a great purple, red and black kinda medieval witch's outfit, with a purple witch hat to boot, but the cut was REAL low, and Anita's not got enough cleavage for that outfit. (as in NONE)

So I'm still after that nurse uniform. I want a cloth one though, and not the latex ones.

Beauty, I want to see some pics of that outfit out in the clubs!

Hi all,

Well, my plans are both firming up and going astray at the same time (what else is new? :P ); firming up, because I just bought this vivid red (and I mean red) page boy style wig that suits me to a T, and going astray because, as it turns out, it appears I might have to work on that Friday night. :-k

Every Halloween Friday, they throw a costume party at the head office for our clients (the head office also doubles as a day program and evening drop-in center); they usually call upon one of us "roving workers" to help out. There's a possibility I might be doing this gig. There's just no way I'll be going as a woman, though. For one, although my colleagues may be fine with my CD'ing, I'm not sure how some of the clients would take my presenting as a female (I suspect one of them may be a CD--he always dresses as a woman at this party and some of the other clients have asked him to tone it down some and to vary his costume). Second, a lot of these folks know each other, away from our organization, and it would only be a matter of time before my own clients get wind of my "dressing up" stunt... and my CD'ing isn't something I ever intend to discuss with them.

What I might do is this: get myself ready on Friday for a full femme outing (shave my body, paint my toenails, lay out my clothes and makeup, etc.), then dress up as something else (I was thinking as Eric Draven, from "The Crow"--if I can manage not to make myself look like Alice Cooper, that is), go to the clients' party, come home, catch a few winks, rise very early, and spend a couple of pre-dawn hours getting ready for breakfast as The Lady in Red. Well, it's what I'll aim for, at least. Wish me luck (and a good snooze on Saturday afternoon, especially if I'll be going out to some Halloween party in the Gay Village that night!).

Right now, the only thing missing for my costume is the footwear; I thought red pumps would be easy to find. So far, that's not so. The quest continues.

I hope y'all have fun on that weekend! 8) I want to see some maids, witches, nurses, call girls, and catwomen strolling out there!

Love,
CJ

You Know Gurls I am Green with Envy!

:mrgreen:

We dont do this in Scotland. The kids go "Guising" which these days means they mug you for a pound to spend on an alcopop.
Some of the teenagers have a party, but us old-uns miss out.

Im :mrgreen: with envy.

I wish I knew how to insert images like you guys. But Beauty you are stunning. You remind me of wotsername, oh yes Halle Berry when she appeared in Startrek.

If I had a chance to go to one of these things I would like to wear this style of outfit.

make the most of it my Yankee cousins.

Dont get too drunk! :mrgreen:

Hi all,

Thanks, Donna, for the links. :) Believe it or not, I've been to Tony Shoes on Greene. Just not ready to hock my RRSP account for a pair of pumps. :P I'm a girl of modest means. This week, I went to Payless Shoes and found a pair for about $40, but, alas! it was one size too small. I just now came back from the local Renaissance store (our version of Sally Anne's or Goodwill) and, again, found a pair that was just a little too tight in the toes. They were selling them for $4.99. Oh well. The Search For The Perfect Pair Of Red Pumps continues. Stay tuned. 8)

Kerri,

That's a fab outfit. Fairy Goth Mother, indeed! Start a trend, why don't you? 8)

Love,
CJ
