Haloween 2005
I haven't missed Haloween in 18 years. It's just the best time for me to go wild with no inhibitions. I'm getting one of my wigs done in a fabulous UP-DO and I'm having a professional make up . I'm going for this AIR BRUSH, makeup application. It's supposed to cover beautifully and produce a soft matt sheen. I've rented a formal dress from "Night on The Town" gown rentals. I went there en femm and told them I wanted a gown for Haloween. They were so cool, they thought it was a riot. I tried on three gowns and found one that fits perfect. I've got a lead on two
adult Haloween parties. One is at a friend of mine house, she is a gay women who I have known for years, her parties are a riot and a very mixed group. I CAN't WAIT!
Love ya all.

I will be on vaction for this years fun but most importantly, will be able to go out. I have a appointment for a make over at a local shop and will be able to have my make up applied, wig styled differently and be able to go to a local resturant for diner. As I have never gone out to eat, I want to have the experience and have slected Holloween to do it as I will have the imbedded excuse, I am just coming from work were the staff wore costumes for the day.
I will let you know the results of the diner experience.
Stephanie.

Cyndy, mentioned going to VS on Monday - what a great idea. They sent me a card for some free new perfume that they are coming out with and $5.00 of any bra. I have never found a VS bra that fits me properly, but, though I have gone to restaurants, and movies, I have not gone shopping, not that I needed to, it just never happened - well until Monday. I have a problem with the irony of it. I love to dress and go out - that is what Virginia enjoys, but under the guise of Holloween??? Well, what the heck! VS here I come!!! and the mall!

I got one of those VS cards last year. Went into the VS near my office in DC and presented the card. The lady asked if I was interested in the $5 off for a bra. I said, "Not at this time, I'm on a diet and losing weight." Flustered her a bit and she said she meant for my wife. I told her she was dieting too.

First outing
We have a small party to go to Sunday night and my wife suggested that I go as Dr Frankenfurter, but I really do not have the upper body for that, a little to much flab for that amount of clothing. Cher and Sonny was tossed around, but that did not do it for me. After sleeping on it a night, I suggested I go as a French Maid, the wife was ok with that. The wife is the only one in the world that knows that I am a crossdresser, and she has yet to see me dressed, so I suppose I will have to give her a small fashion show before the actuall party. This is a co-workers party, less than a dozen people but, all co-workers, most all female. I am sure I will be the talk of the office on Monday. I am sure none of them have ever pictured me in 4 inch platform heels holding a feather duster in red manicured fingers.

I've been telling all my friends that I'd be dressing up for Halloween for a couple of years now, and every year, something comes up. Not this year. I requested the night off from work, and my request was granted. I've spent the last few weeks putting together an outfit that works (out of several choices). I debated just dressing or trying to put together a "costume" of some sort; I decided to stick with normal clothes, though I am going to "dress up" a bit. I looked through the paper this evening in search of some public function to attend. Alas, all of the nice eateries and clubs in town are having their parties on Saturday or Sunday. I'm not off till Monday!
Oh well, I've not come this far just to give up. I'll get dressed, maybe drop in on the crew at work, and find something I can do by myself. Maybe the movies?

Hello ladies,
Last night I attended the TGEA Halloween Party. I went as Batgirl, and my wife went as the Cat in the Hat. The food was potluck, so we made "spider" snacks out of peanut butter, Ritz crackers, pretzel sticks, and with chocolate morsels for the eyes. We also made pumpkin soup using one of Emeril's recipes. Both turned out great.
There were several games for Halloween, and also we paraded around the room in our costumes and prizes were given out for the best costumes. I got one of them.
The strangest part of the night for me was when our programs coordinator asked me to help plan our February program, which is supposed to be a panel discussion put on by the SOs. I told her I was TG not an SO (my wife was standing next to me at the time). She apologized and said I looked so good she assumed I was a GG/SO. I was wearing a mask at the time.
I posted two Batgirl pictures to my gallery.
Happy Halloween!
