Thanks for the update on Fielden's. We've been told by a friend of ours that TGIFF had stopped quite some time ago, and Nova was rarely at the club due to other interests as well as Mike's 'attitude' changing towards First Friday.
Not surprised that Mike Love did what he did; like someone commented at the blog, he's a snake, and I never did care for him. Glad to see that someone finally invested some money in the place and cleaned it up, but that should have been done by Mike many years ago instead of his pocketing all the profits. He just saw an opportunity to sell out and yet still maintain some management control. Sorry to see that he didn't even give his loyal staff a hug or a kiss, but that's his claim to fame!
Guess we'll be giving Babe's our business the next time we're in Richmond. Who knows? Maybe we can get Lisa to come with us and we'll be lucky enough to run into Bucky again!!
