How did you choose your femme name?

Alexandra...now there's a name I like as well. for some reason, names that begin with an A, sound so elegant to me.

But who is this Alexandra?

She was a brave CD on the CD-F.com board. One of the first here in fact.

Legend speaks of her many strong views on politics and other issues close to her NorthWestern heart.

She's been an in and out visitor lately, but hopefully now that the holiday seasons are coming to an end, she'll be back. Then you can interact with the legend yourself.

Gosh, its nice to be missed. Thank you girls. I suppose I did go on a trip "up the river" but not of the "mug shot" variety.

Jadhe, I like to hold our politicans "accountable". If they say one thing and do another, its like open hunting season for me.

Another thing to remember is nobody else is going to ENTHUSTIACALLY speak for us, so we have to do it ourselves. So please join me in removing an advocate for legalized discrimination against TLBG people from the White House and send him back to Crawford, TX in 2005.

My parents always wanted a girl.
I always knew that they wished for a daughter.

Once, when reading a book, the thought came to me that the name "Julie" was somehow my name.

I've used it ever since. It's now just my name.

Same here, though I still have to figure out if that is a good thing or a bad thing. Either way they have a hidden daughter in me that they have yet to see.

As far as the name goes, I thought for about 2 years of names and Stephanie always sounded sweet and kind so I chose it I have been a (hidden) Stephanie over since.

How can you tell that? Are there some specific signs that your parents emit, when they would have wanted a girl instead of a boy? Do the accidently buy dresses, and then apologise for forgetting that you were a boy.

I already explained how I chose this name, but over the years I've been using several names. You could even say that my name changes as often as my hair colour.

My name actually came from the mother of a close friend of mine. :o

My friend and I had gone shopping before she went to have dinner with her mother. Apparently I was the sole topic of the dinner conversation, and she called the next morning, with my name.

I loved the name, and since my real name begins with 'M', it will certainly make monograms easier to deal with.

Hey Y'all,
My name was actually chosen by my wife. My middle name has a feminine spelling to it, but I never much liked the name.

I thought of using Karen, but my wife said I don't look like a Karen

She suggested Kyra, and I remember an old scifi/fantasy movie called Dark Crystal (i think) and one of the chartacters was Kyra....I liked her.

Lacey, was chosen by me as it is unique, feminine and is similar enough to my male name while seperate enough to allow my femme identity to have 'her' image.

Hadley as a surname was chosen as I wanted a surname to complete my femme image. It came believe it or not from a NASA documentary I saw a while back. Apollo 17 landed at HADLEY-RILLE on the moon and I thought Hadley sounded nice with Lacey.

Primrose, is my less used adapted middle name as it is a unique feminine sounding flower.

All three names match my male monogram too.
