I went out last week on my day off, Thursday, which was also payday. It had been almost a month since my last manicure/pedicure, so I went by the nail salon before I went anywhere else. I swear that I thought I'd told Julie (the nail tech) about this side of me, but I guess I didn't. Way to out myself! As it turned out, Julie didn't have a problem with it. I went with my usual clear manicure, but I had her do my toes in OPI Heart of Africa, a sort of dark, glossy red. Then I was off to the mall.
I hadn't been to Torrid in about a month, and I was feeling the need in a big way. I tried on lots of stuff, but only came home with six pieces:
"Dark Shadow Grey Faux Angora Marilyn Sweater"
http://img.torrid.com/is/image/HotTopic ... hi?wid=199
"Purple Tactel Convertible Cami" - to wear under the sweater, or with other pieces.
http://img.torrid.com/is/image/HotTopic ... hi?wid=199
"Black and Red Satin Kimono Sleeve Top"
http://img.torrid.com/is/image/HotTopic ... hi?wid=199
"Loganberry Drape Neck 2fer Top"
http://img.torrid.com/is/image/HotTopic ... hi?wid=199
"Grey Purple and White Pinstripe Knicker Pants"
http://img.torrid.com/is/image/HotTopic ... hi?wid=199
I didn't set out to buy shoes, but the brown wedge sandals I wore out on my little excursion didn't do anything for the clothes I was trying on, so the staff were happy to oblige me with a pair a little more suitable. I ended up buying them. Aren't they cute?

I stopped by DSW on my way home last night and tried on several pairs of shoes, and a pair of boots. Well, not both shoes of the pair, just the right one
Picked up two pair, one maroon, one brown, that appeared to go well with my prarie skirts.
My calves were too big to get the boot zipped all the way up.

We went shopping for the first time on Sunday (29th I beleive) and we didn't really have much luck. It was very fun and we went in many stores to see what we could find.
We didn't find much but we got 2 pairs of panties each and some really nice and soft socks. I made Amanda pick mine out though because I wanted to see what she would pick and because I don't like spending other people's money (she won't let me pay for anything, hehe... meany!).
It was so much fun and I can't wait to go again!

I should have posted this the other day. I was at Costco and they had a Polo skirt for $4.99. The normal retail tag it had on it had a $69 price on it. I had to buy it. This would also count as a good deal post. It is a nice denim mini that is longer then the rest of my mini skirts by about 2-3 inches. I have not measured just a guess.

My wife wanted to go up to a outlet mall in Hagerstown MD on the 24th. I think, according to the traffic, everyone else did too.
Leaving there we went to another (regular/indoor) mall a couple of miles away. This mall contains a stored called CJ Banks, which caters to women's sizes.
My wife couldn't find anything but I picked up a nice long off black velour type gypsy skirt that, for $9.99 I couldn't pass up.
I walked up to the counter as my wife left to visit a store that was displaying some quilts. I told the SA that I just couldn't pass up the skirt at that price, but was having a time finding a top to go with it.
The SA suggested a midnight blue top, but also suggested that my wife try the skirt with the top to be sure.
I told her the skirt was for me.
And no, she didn't suggest I try the skirt and top on, but remained friendly.

After taking a month-long hiatus from real shopping (on account of being broke), I went out yesterday morning to Southpark Mall. It was early, and a lot of people weren't out driving because of the icy weather (which wasn't half as bad as forecast). I shopped in several stores, but ended up only buying from Torrid, and came home with the following items:
(For the oompteenth time, I am NOT any of the chicks in the photos, though I wouldn't mind being any of them
)
The Tango Red Ruched Tube Top
http://img.torrid.com/is/image/HotTopic ... hi?wid=199
Black 3/4 Sleeve Bolero Jacket
http://img.torrid.com/is/image/HotTopic ... hi?wid=199
Kik Girl Rhinestone Pocket Jeans
http://img.torrid.com/is/image/HotTopic ... hi?wid=199
and these totally killer shoes
http://img.torrid.com/is/image/HotTopic ... hi?wid=199
Basically, I bought an outfit. And just in time for the January Kappa meeting!

Just discovered tall sizes at Lands End. They solve the problem of blouses with sleeves that are just too short.
I bought this: http://tinyurl.com/yqhfot and it fits great. It looks very much like a man's shirt but it has a narrow front placket, slightly smaller collar points, and darts at the bust and in the back to make it slightly fitted for a woman's figure, buttons from the "woman's side" and no pocket.
Nevertheless, I'm wearing it to work today in an (almost) totally woman's outfit. From the inside out, I'm wearing blue Jockey Elance hi-cut panties, JMS vee-neck tee, the Lands End shirt, charcoal women's pants in size 14 petite with slash front pockets, button flap, 1" deep back pockets, JMS microfiber trouser socks, and my men's oxfords.
We'll see if I get a second glance.

Tried another Goodwill store in the area. WOW! It had a couple of racks of formal gowns and wedding dresses (did not have time to try on any of them - this time!)
I did buy a black, car length, fur coat - awesome! $28.00 had to sell for $300- $400 new and it looks new!
A leather short skirt slightly above the knee!!!! It is a medium tan color, it has six snaps up the front and a matching wide belt. It is so so sexy and fits oh so good! I have to give SL credit as she found it!!!!
A couple of pair of hose for $1.00 and they sell for $5 - $6 elsewhere.
A white mock turtleneck, so soft!
It is the biggest store in the area and there were racks of dresses and skirts that I can't wait to go through!!!
