Actually, since moving here I have been more interested in buying suede and leather skirts, jackets, and coats, and I've generally been upgrading my style. In return, I've been getting rid of clothes that are now too big for me, or just way too casual, and donating them back to Goodwill and Salvation Army.

I am sure that SL will post either before me or after, but do you know how much sound-deadening that clothes provide?? This place is like a tomb! Actually, we are compromising, and isn't that what it is all about? She is teaching me to "dress down" from my selected style of "conservatively sexy!" and I am getting her to "dress-up" to more skirts and silky tops, heels and hose! The fact that we can wear each others skirts, well, that is a plus in the closet space! Skirts, do we have skirts!!?? We will have to store winter stuff when the time comes and it is gonna be fun to see what we do for spring and summer! We're lovin it!!!

As SL and I were discussing, consignment shops are nice, but what I have found is that they usually have far less inventory, are more expensive and thus far we have had a great deal of success at Salvation Army and Goodwill, but we are open to anything involving shopping!!!
Shop ON and on and on and on and..............

You two are the shopping divas! I am getting my waist line back fairly quickly so I need to do a little shopping myself. Elayne and I can wear the same blouses but she is a little bigger in the waist. I love her clothes though...as Eddie Izzard says, " I am an executive transvestite".
Keep on Shopping!

My recent purchages are a Black size 38A bra. I have always wanted to be able to wear a bra and fill it out naturally. Found this one on Ebay and tried it out this morning. It is a pushup type and I could not believe how wonderful it looked on me. I am standing there in front of the mirror, looking at it with my male breasts filling it. Then when I bent over the sink to brush my teeth, I looked up and OMG I had cleavege. I kept staring at my chest the whole time I brushed my teeth. Then I had to take it off, get dressed for work LOL.
I just bought again off Ebay a 8 garter - white satin garter belt. I have not had one for years and always wanted another one. Now I need to get some stockings to go with it. I remember back when I was in high school and that was all GG's wore. Either with a garter belt or a open bottom girdle. I have always thought that that combination was very sexy. More so than pantyhose. LOL
I would to say that I had fun today shopping at Value Village 50% off day. I finally got my wedding dress that I have always wanted, thought it does need to be dry cleaned, I also got several dresses and tops. Over all it was just a good fun all time.
Well Monday while out enfemme all morning I bought a new skirt and top at JC Pennys on clearence.. Total cost $6.. But trying on dresses at Macys was a blast even though I didn't buy any.. Wednesday I bought the cutest pair of tan gauchos at Kohl's on sale, in drab, and tried on 5 pair before I found the pair I liked best... More shopping enfemme planned next week!! Going to wear my new gauchos!!

Yesterday I went to Sears at the local mall because my friend had an interview across the street. I was looking for shorts as I have one that has been patched, one that is also not in great shape, and one in camo which does not match everything. I did not find any shorts I liked however I found on the clearance rack a skirt for $1.99 it was a med. so I spent about 10-15 minutes looking for a large which I did find and it had a higher price but identical skirt. So I tried both on. The medium fit but I did not like the feel around the legs. I bought the large and it did ring up at the $1.99 so after tax I spent $2.16 on a brand new Canyon River Blues denim skirt.

Today I bought a new dress.
A simple feminine dress in very light lined chiffon, with a subtle peach pattern on a cream background. Gathered under the bust with a satin ribbon, which ties off at the back.
I swallowed my pride and bought a UK 20, found it was tight across the bust, so I took it back to exchange it for UK 22.
Its pretty! And I like it.
It cost £16.20p ($30) from ASDA (Wallmart) in Portlethen.
My son is going out tomorrow night so I will christen it then.
I got my state income tax refund over the weekend, so I had to treat myself to a little shopping therapy. My friends at Torrid were only too happy to help me.
On the way out of the mall, I stopped into Salon Cielo and bought a bottle of that OPI nail color I was trying to find for last Purgatory, "Lincoln Park After Dark". She shoots, she scores!

I did clean up at Torrid the other day, but I won't bore you with all the gory details. On the other hand, I picked up this cute little item over the weekend: a vinyl purse shaped like a Chinese takeout container, which I found in the novelty section of an indie music store, of all places:
