I had fun last last, went out with my sister Hayley and 2 of her friends. My sister has two wonderful friends that love my en femme side,Jackie and Kim.We met at her friend Jackie's house and Jackie was very nice enough to let me borrow a top of hers, luckily it did fit.I was wearing a tube top and it ripped in the front. We had fun and her friend Kim told me something: Thank you for inspiring me not to give up.She sees my en femme side as a positive role model.

Hi DawnMarie--
I'm glad you had some fun. Where did you go?
Your including what Kim said was moving to me. Some people may not like what we do, but even these people will acknowledge that it takes courage to do it. The ones who understand better are able to get inspiration out of it, as well.

Hi girls
Anita was right on the money."It takes more nerve to wear a skirt for an hour than a suit for lifetime." I have to check the pork roast on the grill. I'm cooking dinner for my daughter Katie to bring up her house tonight. I was forced to invite the Warden because she got wind of it and I would of gotten "The Call!" later. "Why wasn't I invited!" Not good ladies. Now and then I have throw myself under the bus for self preservation. Hugs.
Love
Jeannie

Sounds like a great time Dawn. It is nice to have others to share and be part of your femme time.

I agree with Ann Stef. Would like to find friends like that. (and maybe I already have, but don't know it...).
Because... I HAVE met GG's while out in public as "hippie cheerleader."
Some are curious, some compliment my "look," and some are just friendly-- and with some-- all of the above!!
I even get a lot of e-mail addresses.
But I'm still nervous about follow-up, because I've never had much luck with the whole social/dating/relationship "thing."
Having GG friends who enjoy (or are at least supportive of) my CDing would be great. And going out with them while "dressed" would be fantastic!
Maybe I shouldn't worry so much and just plunge in?
Best wishes to everyone for the holiday season and new year!!
Peace-- Kendra Lynn ("hippie cheerleader").

I must agree with AnnStef. Having a supportive sister provides for a veryt high comfort factor. My sister and I go shopping, get are nails done together and have lunch/dinner out. Her support and comments have guided me very carfully and have provides a level of security and support that I do not know what I would have done without early on. With out her, I would not be out and about as often as I am.
