The other day was out just looking for some tee -shirts for layering as fall is coming quick . I picked out a few tops (actually 6) & tried them on ,(was in male mode ,but wearing a bra to see how tops would fit) like them all so the Sa says how i'd make out , i take 5 of them & she says well aren't we the shopahlic o yes thats me. At the check-out i say forgot my discount card , no problem we have internet ,checks my male name & gives me my 10% but i go to interact it & the computer crashes so she says if you have a visa i'll give you another 10% for the hassle (no hassle 10% more off) we chat a little more about fashion & how even she finds some things hard to pull off( tell me about it ) she tells me the discount at the store she buys alot of stuff for herself ( i laugh & say i couldn't work at a clothing store ) she ask why . Its not i wouldn't love it but i'm sure i would spend my entire check on clothes.Time to go & i ask her name ( i like to ask name incase in again , i like to call them by there name) anyhow she comes out from the counter & shakes my hand & says nice meeting you ( i think if i was dressed full fem she would have hugged me ).it amazes me how when even just shopping for fem things i'm more outgoing , friendlier , calmer & just seem to see the world & people in a beter light .Hope post wasn't to long .Stephenie G

Stephenie G:
I can undersand the point of shopoholic very well. The other day, I went into Dress Barn just to see what they have for fall fashions not to puchase.
The sales associate and I have been on a first name basis for several years now and she is always very helpful. We also got into the discussion of shopping and purchasing a lot of things as when I was done, I had 2 new blouses a new skirt and a nice dress.
So much for a good economy.

I feel that I am guilty of the same thing, being a shopaholic,
When I am in the US, I love to go into Dress Barn, Cato, and Layne bryant.
Keep saying that i am only going to look, but usually come out with at least one outfit , and often more, as it is so nice to be able to shop in different stores than we have here in Canada.
Bye the way, Stephanie H, Please try to get the price of Gas back down to some realistic level so that I will be able to go back to Florida in November

Sounds like you had a wonderful time Stephenie. I love shopping too, & it's so much better when there is a nice SA at the check-out. I've never been brave enough to try anything on, but it's lovely when they give you that knowing smile or make nice comments about what you're buying.

I went to Kohl's Friday night to shop. I was the only obvious male (but with shaved legs, arms, thinned eyebrows and clear fingernail polish) in the womens section shopping. The other customers and SA's were friendly and accepting of me being there, even conversed with me with no weird looks. After spending over 4 hours there, I looked at every item on every clearance rack (you know how the sizes seem to walk around on the racks) and came away with
nothing!! So I guess I'm not a shopaholic, just a
lookaholic.

I'm a shop-lift-aholic. But it's not really stealing if one doesn't get caught, well, that's what my local politician tells me.

DeeDee is great!! SL and I had a wonderful time with her and her SO and their friends, so she can show you a good time and fun places to go.
She could not make it to Key West with us so SL and Virginia went by ourselves. If you have never been to Key West it is a great place to visit.
My story was I was appropriately dressed, mini-skirt, light blouse, heels and a cute, floppy sun hat. Me and what seemed like the entire contents of two cruise ships that had docked about the time we got there. It was wall to wall people virtually all over the "downtown" area. Then we had some of that brief Florida, "liquid sunshine" and everyone scurrying for cover, I think I got pinched more than once! he he.
Anyway anyone who is going down that way, don't be bashful, PM any of our Florida girls and maybe you can get together with them and party down too!!!!
