Decided to to do a door buster opening the other night. Got dressed and went to the local outlet store complex. Went into Dress Barn at about 12:15 am and was the only girl there. The sales staff was a little disappointed that no one showed up. We had fun for the next 2 hours or so trying on different things, doing a lot of mix and matching with skirts, tops, pants, desses and jewlery, with me receiving lots of attention and help. At about 3:00 am several ladies did come into the store. Finally got the winter white skirt and pants, tops and scarves that I have been trying to find.
Love them.
As I did not have lots of cash, I could only purchase the skirt, pants, scarves and 2 of the 4 tops that the sales associate suggested so, we set up a date to pick them up on Thursday. When checking out I commented to the sales associated the I left a 20% coupon in the car and went to get it. When I returned, the coupon was not valid for the month of November but becomes valid on 12/03.
The sales associate said no problem, She had several valid coupons that could be used. She also split the purchases into 3 transactions because each coupon was good for only one item and the store had a discount of 50% off the second item. So, the discounts were rather deep

The Dress Barn seems to almost "bend over backward" for "us." I don't think I have heard of anyone having a bad experience with them.

Glad you had a successful trip, but .............. this gal loves to shop but not in those wee hours of the morning. :P

Love,

Virginia:
I did the shopping as a lark just to see what the number of people would be at that hour of the night. For the most part not many...
A little disappointed being I got dressed for the ocassion.
