Another outing--Tea and shopping

My wife and I went out for tea yesterday and a very upscale hotel near us. It was a good excuse to dress up and practice and exercise good manners and etiquette.
The tea was held in the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel, so the view was beautiful. There were others (mostly women) there as well, and the tea was a lot of fun with all the fun petite sandwiches, tarts and sweets. A harpist was playing and it was all very elegant, beautiful and fun!
After tea we went shopping (always fun). I picked up a cartouche that I had ordered a while back from a jeweler and we went looking for cool shoes, boots, purses, sweaters, or whatever else we could find. Nice cords and two cool jackets for Stormy and a sweater and the cartouche for me.
All in all a very enjoyable day.
