Getting Ready for a Trip

I'm traveling this week on business which means I'm planning two nights of dressing in some new clothes. As you may have seen in my intro, I'm still new to all of this so am just now building a wardrobe and I'm also still "closeted."
So a few big steps I've taken for my trip... To add to my now growing wardrobe I went shopping for a couple of skirts; a denim mini and and a white cotton "twirl-worthy" skirt. Some tops; a floral chiffon top, a baby doll top and a cami. Some tights -- I've only had nylons up to now so I bought black, white and black footless tights. And I bought some shoes; a cute canvas wedge and high heeled sandals. I added some new cosmetics and a new bra that I fits me a bit better and some cute fashion jewelry.
Then, I shaved my legs for the very first time ever! I'm not very hairy at all and the hair I do have on my body is very fine and light colored so you barely see it anyway. But the big difference is they are now sooooo smooth!!! Why haven't I done this before?! LOL And then, I shaved my arm pits too for the first time.
So. now, I'm ready for two big nights while travelling. I am determined to step out and venture into the world -- so we'll see if and how that works out. But I can assure you that I'll have plenty of pictures of me in my new clothes!!
Anyway, I'm so excited. Thanks for letting me share!

Robyn I am glad you had a good time. Going out at night on a business trip is when Kim first got out. Even before I had a femme name. It is a great way to start and a great way to get out for those that do not want to do it near home. Being away from those we know makes it easier to get out and relax. The first I went out I said over and over to myself:

"it just does not matter what others think as I will never see them again".

Robyn:

So glad that you had a good time.

You are so fortunate that when you are travelling that you are able to enjoy some Robyn time.

When i was working, and had to travel on course or for business, there were usually 2 of us in a room at the hotel, so Denise had to be safely tucked away at home.

Keep up the good work, and let us know how it comes for you

Cheers

Denise

Hi Girls, I have a question about 2 states Pennsylvania and North Carolina and what the laws are if you are presenting as a female and enter the Women's room in public ie. restaurants, bars, Pro Ball parks, and various other venues in both of these states as I live here in California and it is not too much of a problem here and I'm really looking forward to this trip without any hassles. If anyone knows the laws and more's(spelling) of these 2 states Please enlighten me. Thanking everyone in advance.......Hugs, ~~Lynn~~ @->->- @->->- @->->-

I don't know about the laws but I would think key is the phrase "presenting as a woman" If you look like a guy in a dress use the mens room. If you really look like a woman use the womens room, no one will know. If you are uncomfortable with either use a guys privilige and go outside somewhere discrete.
