Back Zip Jeans

Post by Lana »

Recently, unfortunatey was in outwardly appearing Drab, I saw a young lady wearing a pair of back zip jeans. I was unable to ask her where she had gotten them. Do any of you happen to know or have you seen them in any stores?

Sadly I don't know where you could find any. From a quick search it looks like they were much more common a few decades back. If I do run across any I'll let you know. Sometimes even if you do ask the answer you get isn't any more helpful. I saw a woman wearing a really lovely skirt this week, told her I thought it was stunning and asked where she got it. Answer: Italy. Oh, well.

Lana,
I used to have a couple pair of womens slacks years ago that zipped up the back. They always felt so good, not to mention that the rear looked good too. I can't remember what became of them though. There are still some slacks made that side zip. I think Spiegel's has them. As for the rear zip, you might try Fredricks of Hollywood? I have shopped the thrift and goodwill stores and occassionally found a pair or two with the rear zip, but just not in my size. As a last resort, you may try looking for a vintage sewing pattern with the rear zip. You might give e-bay a look. If you find or locate a pattern, I want a copy :) .

Back zip skirt is as close as I can come. I got it at a second hand store awhile back.

You could try Burda Styles, open source sewing.

I'm sure if you can sew at all, this would be a great source of unique patterns from the past.

Have a nice day

I have not seen any rear zip pants/jeans recently, I do buy side zip slacks all the time at Talbots, JC Penny, etc.

I like the cut and fit of women's pants and shorts better than men's. It's nice to wear side-zip pants out once in awhile. No pockets is much more comfortable driving. Of course you have to have your purse with you ...

Hi, I have not see any back zip jeans, but I did buy a back zip skirt the otherday and was impressed the way it sat, and the smooth appearance =D> =D>
Keeping them cupped comfortably.
