I need to get out to the nail salon more often. I went and had lunch with a friend today, and she mentioned in passing that she was going to the nail salon afterwards, and 'suggested' I come along.

By 'suggested', I mean that she was driving, and we weren't going back home so soon, so I was along for the ride.

I got myself an active length set of acrylics, with white on light beige french tips. It'd been TOO long since I'd spent any time getting in touch with my feminine side, I'd been out a few times, shopping mostly, but nothing as girly as this recently, and I had a wonderful time. The nail tech 'read' me, but she didn't mind. She told me that she knew several tg's & cd's that came to her specifically, and I could see why, she was a real sweetheart.

When I go back, I'll have my toes done too.

I have been going to my Nail salon for 3 years now. On my last visit, I went en fem. At first they did not recognize me, but now all of the techs know. As I left that morning, all of the Techs almost at the same time said, "Goodbye JoAnn". From now on, I will be going as JoAnn.
