i took a change of drab clothes with me and changed before i went into Walmart. ok, so im too scared to go into Walmart dressed up....lol. i went in there for the sole purpose of finding me something a bit sexy but i chickened out because i kept getting alot of weird looks from women in there. i left there and changed back into my femme attire and drove thru the main part of town where i live. it was exciting yet i was a nervous wreck. i didnt turn my head or anything, just kept looking forward...lol. anyways, so im pretty excited i took my first step tonite!! i probably wouldnt be so nervous to go in somewhere if i had a fellow cd'er here in Fort Wayne. thats it and thanks for looking!!!
i took a step forward

Famous Chinese philosopher say, "Journey of 1000 miles begin with a single step!"
You did good! It is always a rush to go out amoungst "the great unwashed" when we are being ourselves.
One thing you may want to try, its how I made my first venture in public, other than driving around, I attended an afternoon movie matinee. It is usually not crowded, you can park as close or far away from the theater as you want and the only interaction is with the person at the ticket window who is usually talking on their cell phone and could care less and you are probably talking through a 2" piece of glass. It gives you a chance to "practice your feminine moves" be entertained and be in a safe place. One thing I would recommend if you have a concern about " the call of nature." Don't buy that big drink and box of pop corn.
Have fun, hon 'cause no one cares. They are all living in their own little universe and more than likely you will not run into anyone that signs your paycheck!

Cute outfit Jenny. You probably would have gotten less attention in the store if you had not changed first.
One step at a time. You did good.
