Well, busy,busy, busy!!
The invitation still stands for any of you that happen to be in the SRV (Salem, Roanoke, Vinton) valley next week-end! We are going to have our Tri-Ess group here at our home on Saturday evening, the 19th for dinner and conversation so let me know if you want to attend. Sorry, I can't provide any shelter but there are a lot of motels in the area that would love to have you.
One of our Tri-Ess members is also having a dinner for us on the evening of the 18th so if we survive that we will be spending all day Saturday getting ready for the Saturday evening party here.
Love ya,
Virginia

Hi, Donna -
We'd love to see you again, girlfriend, and hope you'll be able to make it.

The map and directions from MapQuest are correct; the ones from Google put us on the Knob directly across the valley from where we really are (and don't follow
any directions involving a Mountain Top Road)!!
Will your lovely SO be coming, too? You're welcome to spend the night, but all we have to offer is an extremely comfortable Berkline reclining sofa.
We'll leave the light on for you, hon!!
Love & Hugs to you and the SO!
- SL

Well, she didn't say no. . . . Yet.
I hope I have something to wear. I've lost 50+ pounds since last we met.
But I still have the same hairdo

Way to go, Donna!!! I trying to do the same. Gained a few belt notches but not getting on the scale until New Year's Day. Hope to drop about 50# by next June. Feel much better and almost have a waist in my skirts!

Thanks so much virginia and Silver Lady,
I actually was thinking of coming as it seemed like a good time to visit family down there, but then I realized my daughter would have just gotten home from college and scrapped all those plans. Have a good time however.

Snow! snow! snow! and it is beautiful.
The dinners and parties have all been cancelled and with potentially -- what??? just heard on the news up here in the mountains we could get upwards of 20" so even with my Ford Expedition, don't think SL and I will be going anywhere for a few days, but that is all right too!!!!!
The birds will be happy as we have plenty of bird seed, a covered porch and they seem to enjoy eating off the bricks and out of the snow fall!
Gosh, it sure is pretty!!!!
Love ya,
Virginia
