SNOW SNOW SNOW

Post by JoAnnDallas »

For the first time since I came out to wife, family, and friends, I have ventured out into the SNOW as JoAnn. It started snowing around 4AM this morning. By 9AM we had between 2-3" on the ground. They now say we are to get between 4-5" when it stops sometime tonight. At least I have the clothes for it. LOL Black " high boots, Long ankle length Dark Red wool skirt, long sleeve Beige fleece top, and a warm Blackcoat that comes down to about my knees.
Walking in 2" high boots on icy sidewalks is a challenge. LOL

You folks in Dallas and that part of Texas have a more serious problem in that the weather report is that the stuff will melt then tonight it is going to freeze and produce a lot of "black ice."

So be very careful driving.

UPDATE.......we got 10" here at the house and at the DFW airport they got over 12". This is a record for the Dallas/Ft Worth area. I took the boy cats out this morning and they had a great time running around in the snow.

Hot Chocolate with marshmallows sure tastes good.

I wonder if the earth is tilting a little more than usual causing a weather pattern change? :P

I remember having to drive all the way from Tyler TX to Ft. Hood TX on mostly ice.

Well actually.....(caution...science ahead) The earth is basically tilting. However the tilt is inside! The earths magnetic poles are overdue for a reversal. Basically, the inside core is rotating around causing all kinds of havoc. The process of reversing the poles may take a couple hundred years, but it's due! So yes....I do think this changes our weather significantly.

I seen something on the science channel last year about that. I personlly don't want to be around when the poles flip flop and north becomes south and south becomes north. #-o
