Snorkelling Enfemme!?

Post by Kimberly Kael »

I'm just about at the end of my first vacation since my social transition, and it has been a lovely week of firsts. Lounging poolside in a bathing suit has been glorious. Going to the resort spa as a woman is a nice change of pace, too. Packing an emergency bag to evacuate to higher ground due to the threat of a tsunami was a little surreal, and not something I had packed for! What do you wear? What makeup is appropriate for a disaster relief victim? Luckily it turned into nothing more than a pool party, more like a field trip than anything.

... But my favorite "first" was going to a beach to do a little snorkeling. I'm happy to report that the fish treated me as a perfect lady even without a dab of makeup.

Waterproof mascara and a fashionable slicker?

Sounds so nice. So glad to hear you had a good time. =D>

That sounds like fun and I'm glad the tsunami did not materialize. I have friends in Hawaii who were quite concerned about it, but it turned out okay. It sounds like the death toll in Chile won't be too awful so far also, which is wonderful news.
