Went out fully en femme with wifey!
Yesterday afternoon my wife informed me our son (who is 11) was sleeping overnight at one of his buddie's houses. She then tells me she has a couple stores to run around to, do I want to come along and...would I think it would be fun to go fully en femme! I thought about it for a few minutes and said sure, let's do it...the only thing is the time and concentration putting on the make-up and making the sure the wig is on straight and looks right.
It took em longer to do my face that I thought, but the wig went on great. I wore a burgundy top, dark blue skinny jeans, a black leather jacket and 2" strappy sandals and a black leather clutch.
I had a package of french manicure press-on type nails made for larger hands that I decided to try, what the hell! They were okay, but felt like they were barely staying on by the end of the evening.
We went to a Jo-ann fabrics, Hallmark store, Best Buy, Avenue Plus size and a supermarket...if anyone noticed I could not tell, I felt at peace...content. We decided to eat at the market (it is a nice market) and got chinese and talked...my wife remarked that she had never seen me so comfortable dressed in public before. I told her I don't know why, but just being myself is liberating.
She asked me if when our son is older and moves, would I like to live like this more often...i said I would, but I am also happy about being a man...each side needs the other to exist and I am happy with that.
As I finished my dinner I looked at my hands, pretty french manicured nails, a ring on each hand and a bracelet on my right wrist, lookedd at tthe clutch i was carrying, down at the strappy sandals and painted toenails and then again realized that I was in a public place! This is what I have been trying to achieve my whole life and here it is...I won!

My wife is crazy!! She could care less what anybody thinks...She is definitely not the least bit concerned about "appearances"...she has always been 100% supportive...I am very lucky, I know that...I read what alot of the rest of us have to go through...I wish all the wives could be so understanding...she loves me for who I am, not for who I'm not.

I am lucky and I know it...she's great. I am fortunate that she is one of the rare ones who enjoys this. I could not imagine how hard and embarrassing it would be if she was not good with this.
Even in the beginning, when I first told her, I was afraid she was not clear about this, what it is and would she feel differently down the road? My wife has a degree in sociology and had studied gender in college, she said she understood and had no problems. We love to shop together and I hope it is always this way.
My son is another story, he is kind of a "macho "kid, he is big for his age, he plays football...he does not have any idea, I think...I have always told him to be considerate of others, regardless of their differences...I hope if he ever finds out he will learn to understand...I even think If I was in his shoes and found this out about my father, it would be difficult to deal with initially.
Boys see their dads as Superman, General Patton and Terry Bradshaw all rolled into one, to find out dad wears high heels...I think it would be hard to deal with.

I bet you had a great time. I remember right after I told my wife about my fem side. I was dressed and watching TV. She walks by and says, "If your going with me, you better grab your purse." Well it did not take me be a second to get my purse, turn off the TV and away we went shopping. Since then, wife and I have gone all over the place with me in full girl mode.
