Hi Sisters:

well this past Wednesday i finally got up the courage to go
to my support group's monthly pub night dressed.
it was an incredible experience and the girls said i looked
quite passable and that made me feel like a million dollars.
my wife and i are trying to work things out and she wanted
and encouraged me to go for which i am so greatfull ( i love
her so much) that really helped me and i was on cloud 9
thanks for listening to my rant, take care and God bless

hugs

Giselle Reeves

Congrats, Giselle.

Did your wife go with, or will she entertain the thought next time?

Also this sounds way better than where you were with your wife. I mean at the end of 2011 you were saying it was only a "marriage of convenience"...

A good start o the year, now you've crossed this Rubicon you won't be able to go back so enjoy your new freedom - but not too much :?

Congratulations Giselle.

I can still remember the first time I was out fully dressed, had the preminition that every one was looking at me and the roof was going to fall in any time.

As you know that is long past for me, and now it is a common thing as if I had been doing it since i was a wee kid

Good luck in the future

Way to go, Giselle and hug the better half for helping.

Susan's right; the cat's out and she's going to be hard to ever get back into the closet.

Hopefully that during the year, you will be able to do it more often. The confidence that you develop as you do it more often is great. The nervousness of going out is lessened and more confidence is developed.
Good going.

Congrads. I remember my first time out en fem where I had to interact with other people. The first time I got addressed as 'Mam", thrilled me to the moon. My wife is fully supportive and we go out together all the time with me en fem.

Hugs,

JoAnn
