Going to the casinos tonight
I am going to go to the casinos tonight (in fem of course). I also plan maybe to eat dinner over there, but not so sure. I am starting to look forward to the weekends where I can get dressed up and go out somewhere. One place I want to go is the Shed BBQ that is not far fro where I live. I love the food but do not know how well it would be if I did not pass well. The casinos are fun to go to and have great food as well.

Go, eat! Any problems, talk to the manager. Explain how the internet can be used to give bad reviews

BBQ before fun???? Not to jinx things, but I know it's setting the odds so against me. I'm almost certain to get a spot on my top before I can go play. I think I'd get something in the casino. At least then I will be there before I have a chance to pick up my spot.

Re: Going to the casinos tonight
Well I finally went last night to the casino. The whole experience was a learning one as well as fun. i learned that when someone gives me a funny look (and I only had one) just ignore it and move on. The funny look was by two young ladies in the elevator and I know they knew I was not a genetic woman. They were nice about it and just gave me a millisecond funny look bit it was there.
Needless to say I did not play very much as I do not like spending my money that way, I would rather spend it on a nice bra or skirt/blouse combo. It was fun just to walk around though. When I did play at first I was winning, of course that did not last for long as I left about $7.00 down. So no biggie. walking around the casino I received no funny looks and started to feel a little easy.
I then went to the coffee shop and here is where it gets a little interesting. I was standing in line feeling a bit nervous (and let me tell you ladies that is the very first mistake, never feel nervous because if you feel nervous you look nervous). I heard some commotion in the back of the line and some guy saying very loudly "Look over here!" about 5 times. My first instinct was to turn around and look but I though better of it and looked straight ahead. I acted like I heard nothing and went about my business. I am not sure if the remark was intended for me or not. If it was, I am sure it was the nervous feeling I had might have made me look nervous. I should have relaxed and say to myself "I am a woman and there is no problem".
The young lady who served me coffee I think also suspected I was not a real woman. There was a bit of a funny look (like the one I received from the ladies in the elevator). She made my coffee and wished me a good evening. I gave her around a 30% tip. I wanted her to feel that ladies like myself are not bad tippers and are worth being nice to. That is something else ladies, when you go out and are being waited on, if the service is good please be generous with the tips. That way they may get the feeling that ladies like us are very much worth the effort to be nice to. But again only do that if the service is good. From past experience, if I tipped well, when I went back I was treated well. Don't know if I will go back to the coffee shop there but maybe if another CD lady goes in the server will be kind to her as well.
After speaking with some ladies int he chat room (that is a great place to get help and a boost in the confidence thing) I have decided that next weekend I am going to go to Wal-Mart and do some shopping dressed in the skirt and blouse I bought today. Or at least I am going to try and work up the nerve. Hey, I did it at the casino and there were a hell of a lot more people there. The wal-Mart I am going to go to though is in another city for two reasons. 1. The Wal-Mart here is just plain nasty. I cannot say that it is the nicest one I have been to. The one in Ocean Springs is much nicer and would feel more comfortable there. 2. Even though the ladies in the chat room said I should have no problem with someone not recognizing me, I still would feel better if I went to ocean Springs. Too many times I have been to Wal-Mart here in town that I have seen my brother-in-law or sister there. Even though I doubt they would know me when i am lee Ann I would prefer not to even try to have them see me.
I want to thank again (I know I sound like a broken record but it is how I feel) for all the help and confidence I have received from you wonderful ladies. It has been a very wonderful adventure so far and I am hoping it continues. I am still exploring the new world and learning what it takes to be a woman inside and out.

You sound like you're really getting into your stride with going out as a woman - I mean it's a lot better than where I am! - and, whatever confidence etc. you've received here, most of that has to be down to you.LeeAnn wrote:I want to thank again (I know I sound like a broken record but it is how I feel) for all the help and confidence I have received from you wonderful ladies. About the tipping, personally, unless I felt some sort of emotional connection to the person I'd keep it pretty standard (10% - 15%). As long as you're not mean as a CD that probably sends the right sort of message (like we're just like everyone else).
