My wife is out of town for a few days so I have been dressing more than I otherwise would. On Friday I decided I wanted to go out to dinner and wanted to get all dolled up. So I put on my LBD with fine jewelry and wore thigh highs and black pumps and used my long wig. I painted my nails purple for the first time ever. I had a nice evening. At the end of the night it was late but I decided to stop at the Wal-Mart super center and pick up a few things. Yes I know that might be considered overdressing for Wal-Mart but it was late and no one seemed to really notice me. When I was checking out at the cashier, she complimented my shoes. A girl always likes to receive compliments on her shoes.
Saturday I decided to take a ride to Greenville, SC and went to the mall there. I dressed casual and wore my black Bob wig and kept my purple nails but did my toe nails red. I dressed in white capris and an aqua top layered underneath with a white cami. I paired this with sandals. I met a friend there in SC and we had lunch. Afterward I browsed all the stores like Macy's and Victoria Secret. I seemed to blend in well and didn't notice any stares. From my pics I took last week I decided to make a more conscious effort to try and smile more and swaying my hips when walking. I think this was the reason for blending in more. Up to now I have always concentrated on my looks and wanted everything perfect while sometimes forgetting that ACTING like a woman was just as important and that includes smiling. (not just for pictures but all the time). Anyway I had a great time at the mall, got a cute bra at Victoria Secret, make-up with a free gift at Estee Lauder, and shoes from both Macy's and Off-Broadway shoes, which both had my size!
After I got home late I then did something that I never did before. I took my dogs out for a walk en-femme. It was very dark and no one saw me but it was nice to do something for the first time en-femme. Since a lot of people who know me in male mode are aware of what my dogs look like, I have always been leery to do this but late at night I felt safer.
