For the Super Bowl I got all dressed up in a black mini skirt, black sparkly top, Nordstroms Mocha Beige nylons after painting my toes and felt the need for some new heels. The next day I was off to Payless with nylons on under my jeans and my lady loafers with no cover up socks thus exposing my nyloned ankle area and enjoying it.

On display by the door were these red patent leather 3" high heels that I fell in love with, so down the isle I went to find some in my size. The clerk came by and offered help so I slipped my loafers off and surprised her with my nylons and painted toes and proceeded to try on lots of ladies shoes but they didn't have the red heels in my size....she did a search in her register and gave me a $4 off coupon and a store location that had my size. Off I went to the other store and pretty much had the pleasure of trying on lots of ladies shoes with the clerks help again and brought the red heels home with me which I'm wearing as I type. And yes they look good with my black mini skirt and red top! Going to check out how they look with black, suntan or coffee colored nylons though.

Does anyone else enjoy the thrill of showing off your nyloned feet and painted toes to others?

I can't seem to get enough of it.

 I have to laught as about the same thing happens to me when I go to payless, young lady was very surprised but said nothing but willing to help me even more on a second pair. Now the kicker was she ask me to walk in them and said "oh yes those look great on you" \:D/ . Life is so much fun *-*

Hey Michelle! Yes I agree it's great fun! I had a similar experience in a shoe shop last weekend! The problem I have is that I wear English size 10's (that's equivalent to a small american canoe!). The net effect is that shoe shops are pretty much useless to me and I have to buy on line - especially if I want heels. :(

It's great in the summer though - wearing sandals and ditsy dresses! *-*

Enjoy!

ah yes! I love strappy heels with open toes, when I've just gotten my nails done. And I love any heels all the time :)
I have a hard time finding shoes I like in the US, it seems like they are almost always plastic Chinese junk, (not an american canoe) :P

Shopping for shoes in Bulgaria is my favorite thing. One can get nice genuine leather shoes for the same price as plastic here. And they have the cutest boots, my niece would steal them from me if they fit her.

Sounds great. But I am in the same boat (or canoe ) as Ginny. At size 11.5, all I have are black shoes.. :(

I can not say that I get a thrill of showing off nyloned feet and painted toes. I just like shopping in general.

Sounds like we all need to go shoe shopping in Bulgaria with Ralitsa.

I thin we all enjoy shopping and shoes are a particular weakness for many of us, now I usually only clothes shop when dressed, but every now and then I will see something while in drab and just have too try it. It's amazing how coll most assistants are with this.

Last week I stopped at a Payless on my way to makeover at Janet's Closet near Detroit. I tried on several pairs of heels and the SA gave me the introdutary speech and pretty much left me alone. When I left I said I was going clothes shopping and would be back once I had made my purchases to get some shoes to go with what I bought. I'm sure she thought that was the last she would see of me.

About two and a half hours later I returned en femme. The same SA was still there and greeted me, but didn't show any sign of recognition. It wasn't until I went to pay and she heard my voice that it dawned on her who I was. She was a bit taken aback, but recovered quickly and complimented me on my appearance.

I found out payless is a great place to go. I havent' worn stockings, but did try them on, and didn't care if others saw, though was a little self conscious. Actually, I've always liked shopping, and there being attractive women working. I can't buy high heels, cause I have a bad knee, but I def have to get some boots eventually.
