Unbelievable day today. Went bra shopping in 3 outlet stores from 10:30 till 11:45 in drab, but wore my bra and breastforms (B) under a bulky pullover with the forms in.
First was Maidenform. I went directly to the SA and said I would like to look at the tee shirt bra but I am having a problem with my size and the fit of my bra. I explained that most bras ride too high and the cups aren't just right. She lulled out a few as we walked around She had me take off my outer shirt and measured me with my tee shirt on an said I was a 40 B or C. I tried on a few an bought a extra coverage tee shirt bra, and tried on a few others that didn't fit.
Next I went to Hanes outlet and went to the bra section and asked for a light bra that
Was un padded or not underwired. I asked for the Barely There flex fit and tried on a few and asked her my bra size she measured me and said 38 and brought 4 to try. They were all too small so we went to 40. I also got a deal in Bali skimp stamp panties. Size 7L. On the way out I asked if many men came in and bought bras and she smiled and gave me a definite yes
Next, I went to Jockey and bought 3 of the woman's high waisted briefs.
So,ladies just tell the SAs what YOU want and you will be pleasantly surprised at
How well the treat you.

Re: Bra shopping
Isn't it amazing how many of us are so embarrassed to shop for women's
clothes as though "I am the only man the world that wears and buys woman's clothes"
By most of the responses I have seen, It is not unusual for SAs to have seen and helped men buy brs and skirts. Just be honest from the onset and tell the SA what you are there for and be frank.
"I would like to find a bra that fits me and I have my forms with me" is a good way to start.

Re: Bra shopping
I will tell you another good one, I ask the clerk at the fitting room in a dept. store where do I go to try on something. She told me "honey you bring what ever you want to try on and I will give you a changeing room", I laught and said " well what if I bring a dress to try on". Her words were "what even hon what ever". I agree is so easy all we got to do is ask and go about business.

Re: Bra shopping
Janet,
On a side note, were those your first skimp skamps? I love mine; I have a few in my reserve stock as well as in my panty drawer.
Yesterday I was at the JC Penny's close to work shopping for a skirt. The sales lady was very helpful but wasn't really picking up on how I was commenting. I never said "she," "her," or other fem pronouns. It was all "I"... She was so busy being helpful, she missed the cues. Later I walked over the the shoes and I swear I said two words and the sales guy there said there were men's shoes on sale, but I suspect you don't really care. I must have been oozing "Davita" and I was drab. I wound up with $5 white mesh tennies with pink trim.

Re: Bra shopping
bra shopping may be one of the all time most fun things to do. I haven't been bra shopping in a long time, but it's the first thing on my list when I get the money
I have never been fitted for a bra either, to tell the truth I'm sort of embarrassed because there is like nothing to measure. So I keep thinking they will tell me "dude you don't need a bra, you need some boobs." I know they really won't say that, but they will probably be thinking that.
But I hope to do it soon, and hopefully I'll have something to measure......
