Was sitting on the front porch this morning, eating a breakfast of some citrus fruits. Saw a man and his daughter walking towards her car and he looked like he had a towel wrapped around his waist, wearing it like a skirt. Since I had my light control, high waist panty with some control top sheer panty hose on and my yoga pants. Just a wife beater and white t-shirt up top but it is what it is. ;-)

Anyway, to make a long story short as his daughter was driving off down the street I commented about his 'nice towel'. "Actually it's a sarong." He replied. "Nice" I told him, "Who am I to say anything, I'm wearing womens yoga pants." With a smile and a thumbs up he went back to his house and I came back in.

My heart is still racing.

It's always nice when you can connect positively with a stranger, even briefly, and heck, sarongs and yoga pants are damn comfy.

While I've not had a chance to wear a sarong yet but yoga pants are the most comfortable pants I've ever worn.

I've got a silky crystal pleated beach sarong in a Hawaiian print, and I love it. You can wear it like a skirt, "Indian" tied, or buttoned under your right arm and tied over the left shoulder for "Dorothy Lamour".

When I was in my late teens I lived in Micronesia and used to wear one frequently around the house. Men wore them there and they were called lava-lavas.

I have two sarongs, an aquamarine number that my wife thinks is too girlie and a heavily worn tan and black that I wear most every morning and evening. In fact I have it on now. The wife doesn't even blink at this one. She accepts it as normal. Oh she can also accept me fully dressed at Carol but accepting me that way doesn't include the "normal" stamp.

I noticed another young guy who was thin, like myself, looking at the cosmetic section in the local store near work, so I assumed he may be a CD as well, but I walked away to give him privacy. The next time I'll try to give a supportive look so he know he's not alone around here.
