Shopping . . .

I took some time tonight to go shopping at "The Avenue" as I had a dollars off card from a previous expedition. I hate to let those things go to waste if I can help it. It was $25 off $75 or $50 off $150. (I was in drab)
I got two tee shirts and a swim suit. I want to see how I look in the swim suit with breast forms and a bit of "tucking" and most of the women's tee-shirt I have are a bit too big.
Anyway, while there, a woman came in the store. She had to be 6' 2' at least, very tall! If she were CD or TS, she does very well. If she is a GG the I have to say, you tall girls out there, there are GG's at your height. She was very good-looking.

Connie, There are GG's out there that are 6 ft and 1 in as my daughter is out there. An of course she is the most beautiful of them all. Gelinda.

You are absolutely right, Gee! In fact there is a family of "giants" in my neighborhood. The father is a good 6' 4, the mother is probably at least 6'2 (she seems at least as tall as I), Son 1 is taller than dad, daughter (sophomore in HS) is close to 6-foot if not at it (she was 5'8 in Seventh grade.
I know there are tall women out there, which makes me think what else about us tall CD-rs reveals us at "men in tights"?

Congrats on your shopping outing Connie.
I'm starting to pay attention, a lot more, to tall women. Most of the wear the flatest of flat shoes. That's my latest observation.
Gee, does you daughter have trouble finding things?

There is no doubt that there are tall girls out there. Some are comfortable in their height and some are not. My first wife is 6ft tall and was not the least bit apprehensive about it. Almost all her shoes, other than sneakers, had at least 2 in heels, others a little more. On the other hand, I dated a girl who was 5ft11 who would never wear anything but flats and slouched constantly because she didn't like sticking out in a crowd.
My reason for being apprehensive about my height is that of all the tal girls you saw, I bet you remember almost everyone of them. There are times when I would love to blend in, not stand heads above everyone. Most of the time it doesn't bother me abit but on those days when I'm suffering with self doubt it really does affect me when everyone turns to stare.
Hugs,
Stef

Hi Stef,
Well said. I do remember them (all of the tall ones).
I also would love to not look over their heads, but look into their eyes(peers and such).
The laments of the tall gals.

WooHoo!!!!..^.. I love those places Deborah! I have every thrift shop scoped out with a 50 mile radius of my house. Quite a few know me so well that if they see something come in they think I'd like, they hold it for me til I get there.
Jessie, I can't contain you, I might join you though!
Hugs,
