Jamie Austin makeover

On Saturday I had a makeover and photo session with Jamie Austin. For those of you who do not know, Jamie is a makeup artist (and crossdresser too) based out of Massachusetts who specializes in making over TG's. See the website www.austinsangels.com for more information.
Anyway, my local support group, TGEA, arranged for Jamie to come to Virginia this weekend to do makeovers on our members. My makeover was on Saturday. That morning I shaved and dressed at my girlfriend's home, since it was close by where the makeover was taking place. My GF got to see my transformation into Sharon. She has seen me fully dressed before but had not seen me putting on makeup etc. I put on opaque pantyhose (which she had helped me pick out last week) and she helped glue on my artificial nails. I usually don't wear those but I thought why not, its a special occasion. I put on foundation but no other makeup. My GF and I were both a little uneasy at my leaving her home en femme, but it was raining so nobody was outside to see me leave.
At the makeover, Jamie and her assistant helped me with my outfits (some of which I brought, some they provided). I wore two wigs which Jamie brought, one red and one a blonde. I've only been a brunette up until now but I am thinking its time for a change. Jamie uses face taping and contouring to give your face a feminine shape.
We started out with a more conservative look but as the photo session went on my outfits and makeup got progressively more glamorous. Jamie was constantly posing me and reposing me as she shot several dozen pictures. My photo shoot took over two hours. Jamie uses MAC cosmetics, which I also use. She recommended a slightly darker shade of foundation than what I currently use, so I may be headed back to the MAC store to buy some more makeup soon. She also used hip pads and false eyelashes which helped in the transformation, and I think I might try these as well in the future. By the end I was so tired from all the difficult poses but it was so worth it. This was only considered an "express makeover," and if you go to Jamie's studio you can get a longer makeover with more clothing and makeup changes.
After the photo shoot I went shopping briefly to a local consignment shop, but decided not to do any more shopping, as I felt my makeup was a bit too much for that. I went home and got changed into a different outfit. My GF stopped by and saw "the new me" and was surprised at how different I looked. She took a few more pictures of me.We went to our support group meeting Saturday night. Jamie was there and showed my GF some of the pictures she had taken of me. My GF agreed they looked great. My GF even posed for a couple of pictures with me, which she has never done before. Jamie Austin also demonstrated makeup tips for our members.
When we got home after the meeting, my GF helped me remove my false nails. I can't believe how lucky I am to have her as my girlfriend.
As soon as I get some pictures back from the photo shoot, I promise to post them to the photo gallery. I'll try to remember to post a brief note on this thread as well.
Jamie also said she is going to put up a special section on her website with all the gals in this weekend's makeover, called "The Girls of TGEA" or something like that. I'll let you know when that happens so you can check out all the makeovers."
