first time shopping dressed

I finally did it! I was out of town & looking for a hotel to stay at, then I saw an adult book store with a hotel right across the street so I checked in. So after some beers, I called the store to ask if they were cd friendly & she said yes. There were a few people in there now but give her about 15 min. & they should be gone. So about 11:30PM I call & she said come on in. I walked to the store & got honked at once( I was wearing a really short 'dress' that almost showed my stocking tops(more on the outfit later).
So I walked into the store & the girl working was sooooo great!! I felt comfortable & she helped me pick out some stockings & the we looked at some lingerie, then she asked if I wanted a dress!!(see my earlier posts). So of course I bought a real dress that I could probably wear out in public. As I paid she said if I ever see her car there to come on over & she would help me with anything else I needed.
This going out dressed could get addictive!!!!
So glad I joined this site, it's really been a help!

Congratulations Shania. I wish I had the courage and confidence to go out dressed. I have read that the first time is the hardest and all others after just get easier.

It is extremely hard & stressful to go out the first time, you need to do it in baby steps. Like sneak out while you're in a hotel or something. But it seems to get easier & more fun the more you do it. I think it is easier the more you do it because you don't care about what people think & you notice they just wanna go about their business. Try it!

Oh yeah, shopping while dressed is waaayyyyyyyy addictive!!!

The first time is the hardest. I think the first time I wore "womens" clothes in public it was just capris and a tunic. It wasn't even that radical but I kept thinking someone would give me a hard time about that. And afterwards, I'm really not sure anyone even noticed, but certainly nobody cared.
Well that was years ago and now I rarely wear "guy" clothes except when I'm working on something and don't want to ruin my nice clothes.
I was just digging through my stacks of skirts and tops and racks of dresses this morning, deciding what I wanted to wear, and thinking that I have so much nice stuff and so little time to wear it. But then again I might go shopping this afternoon and see if I can find a cute spring dress.
