Drinks with a friend

I have 2 GG friends who know of and are very supportive of Heather. Both have helped me in a lot of ways. Both have seen me dressed but only in the confines of my condo but that changed fir one of them today. Amy knew I had a taken a few days off and called me this afternoon and said she wanted to meet Heather for a drink after she got off work. I was a bit apprehensive :-k but when she suggested a bar that I know is very open to the LGBT community I finally agreed. Knowing she works in a casual dress environment I decided to try to go casual. I wore my blue and white striped maxi-dress with some wedgies, no hose which was a first for me out and about. The bar was abut 2/3 full when I got there so I grabbed a table and ordered glass of wine. Amy arrived a few minutes later and joined me in a glass of wine. We stayed for a couple of hours and just girl talked. We even ordered a spinach dip appetizer to share. Quite a change form my male side that would have had beer and wings. :P

When we left we went out to the parking lot and hugged and she told me she is glad that Heather is blossoming as much as she is. She told m she loved my dress and we are going shopping together on Saturday as she has a wedding to go to in June and wants to get a new dress. Looks like Saturday is going to be another new experience or me. I have never shopped with someone else while dressed. Should be a learning experience as Amy is probably a real power shopper judging by her wardrobe. :)

Having friends to share girl time with is important in my mind. I have several of both genders and I have had all of them tell me that Trudy is very different than her "other side" and they agree they prefer Trudy. Enjoy your shopping trip. Shopping with a GG can be a very enlightening experience I have found.

Nice friend! Seems you'll be spending more and more time out as girlfriends, who rarely just spend time at home.
