Looking forward to a long weekend
I know it's been a bit since I last posted, been way too busy at work. I have the rest of the week off so I am looking forward to some serious Heather time! Just finished getting dressed in my favorite maxi-dress and am off for coffee ad some shopping. Not sure what I a going to buy but it has been too long since Heather shopped I am sure she will need to buy something!

Re: Looking forward to a long weekend
It was a great day yesterday just being out.
I stopped for breakfast at a local restaurant and the waitress complimented me on my dress and asked where I got it, made me feel pretty good about how I looked.
I even used the ladies room before heading off to the mall. I did learn one thing though while shopping. While maxi-dresses are cute they are very impractical in dressing rooms.
I finally realized the easiest way to try on a skirt while wearing something like that is just hike it up and try the skirt on! I'm still new at all of this so I learn something new every time I go out.
Not a lot planned for today. I do have a few errands to run and some grocery shopping to do. Supposed to be warm, 80, so maybe I should try a skort, never wore them out of the house, what do you think?

Glad you had fun out and about Heather.
Skorts are fun, try one and you ill see! They allow you to have the feel and look of a skirt and avoid some of the pitfalls.
As for shopping my Aunt taught me that a skirt or slacks and button front blouse are best for shopping, easy off, easy on! She always said to wear neutral colors so it doesn't clash with what you are trying on.
Also she always said to wear appropriate undergarments for what you are shopping for. If you are looking for a dress for example make sure to wear hose and a sip and if needed a girdle. Just a tip from an old lady!

It sounds as if you had a great day out shopping Heather along with plenty of Heather time.
I look forward to the day when Requal has the courage to go out shopping.
