My Outing today!!!

Well after a very long time of crossdressing I decieded to go out, with a little encouregment from a couple of my sisters here, and do some shopping. I needed new shoes and was going to go to Payless Shoes in drab mode, but with nylons on as I have done before. I decieded that this evening when the sun went down I was going to go dressed to a driveup and get some dinner and bring it home. I was going to make two trips out today. Well it changed into I wanted to get over my nerves and try and see how it feels being a women in public.
I dressed in my green long sleeve blouse, my black patterned skirt and my black pumps, with nylons on. Wig and a bit of makeup. I put on a necklace and a faoux peral braclet on with matching earing. I got a small red purse and broght with me some cash, lipsick and compact.
I was ready. I opened the garage door and looked out to see if any neighbors were outside. I got into my car, made sure my skirt followed me in and closed the door. I could not belive I had gone out into public view as a women!! I started my car and began to leave my driveway. As I was driving to the main street that would take me where I wanted to go I kept thinking what are the other divers thinking when they see me. Oh they thnink I a just a women driver that is probebly what was on their minds if anything. After stoping at the ATM I was turning right and some man let me in, I wonder if he saw a women or a CDer.
I drove to Payless shoes and parked. I relized that I was going to have to walk a bit to get to the store. I did pass some people men,women. I do not think anyone cared if they did they probebly just snickered and went on with what they were doing. Payless was a bomb, no shoes the right size. That was disappointing. I left, as I was still nervous I veered aound the people that where in the store, they weren't many. I got to the street and had to cross as a car was comming so I motioned for it to go by but the driver insisted I go first so I did. This made me feel at ease. Again I got in my car and proceded to Ross dress for less. It was a few miles away from where I was. I parked and had to walk a farther distance this time encountering several people. I did not lower my head I just moved out of the way and contuned on to the store. There were a lot of people here but I kept going in to the store, looking for shoes I went down one asile and as I got to the end some young gal walked pass me and said hi. I was not expecting to be videoed, but I was so I could be famous on youtube. I found a pair or flats they are brown and kinda cute so I got them and looked at the purses. I did not find a purse I liked so I went to check out and the line was long. I patiently waited for my turn and checked out and No one commented to me!
I went to my car and drove confidently to Burger King to get dinner/lunch. I parked and went in, there was a man ahead of me ordering and he did not say anything. I gave my order and paid not one word, this was great. I waited for my meal and went to sit down and eat. I did not hear any comments about the women in the green blouse. this made me feel good. When I left I relized my outfit was a bit mussed up. oh well too late now. I drove home and even stoped and got the mail. drove and parked on my driveway and went through the garage! Whew it was over, and I did it. I spent about 2 1/2 hours out of the house being in the public eye and it was at first odd but not too bad. I would like to go again maybe shopping some place differnt. I am thinking i need a real wig that looks normal I think that would help my apperance. I am still on a high here it has been a great experiance for me.
