Two Halloweens ago I went to my Halloween party as Mrs. bates from Psycho.

I was wearing a very nice old ladies dress, grannie wig, granny glasses and red lips along with the obligatory knife. My dress was long enough so that I could wear comfortable shoes.

What surprised me was that most people I talked to at the party thought that I was a "woman" dressed as Mrs. Bates.
One of my friends said that if they didn't know it was me ( since I told them) they never would have known.

I make a great woman even dressed as an old evil dowager! Yes! A Double Wow!

I make an even better one when dressed normally.

Moving right along in presenting myself as an actual woman!

Martha you make me smile. Yes, we are all different and we all have our own place on this planet. You fit right in with your little niche in life and I love reading your posts. You're confident on being passable, yet not needing to be out dressed as a lady except for special occasions. You have some beautiful costumes which I'd love to get my hands on, but I'm not willing to part with that much money for a dress (as we've discussed before).
