Hi all,

I just wanted to let you know that I've posted a couple more photos in a second album on my gallery. I've included a recent boy mode shot (well, actually, it's sort of a "half and half" shot :P ) for the sake of comparison... it was about a million degrees Fahrenheit when I took that particular picture.

Also, I want to thank all of you who were kind enough to visit my gallery and post your comments; they're very much appreciated. 8)

Love,
CJ

Hi CJ,

Wow! what can I say , you look so different in half mode it would be hard to recognize you in male mode.
All your pics are fantastic and please keep sending them when you take more.

I'm sorry I deleted my bathing costume photos but my SO doesn't think they're appropriate , my photo inside the house " diga 1998" was on a hot day and I also had a hot sweaty face.

keep rolling them out CJ

Hi all,

Thanks, Lisa and Merinda, for the kind words.

The truth is, seeing as I don't get out much anymore, when I do, I want to capture the event, infrequent as it is. So, I don't know how often I'll be grabbing new shots (I'm off for two weeks in early July... I might try to get some shots in then).

I realize the reason I look so much different en femme is that I digitally rework some of the photos (perhaps I'm a closet artist?). I love playing with colour and light. Some of the more natural shots are better indicators of what I actually look like (well, along with the boy mode pix, of course).

Glad you enjoy. 8)

Love,
CJ

CJ,

I was on vacation when you first posted the new pix and I just took a look in the gallery - excellent!

Don't apologize about using Photoshop on some of your pix. They look really good and I see nothing wrong with using software as a tool in artistic expression. If that helps you better express the way you want to present yourself, go for it!

I always look forward to your pictures.

Hi C.J.!! :) Loved the pics. I noticed Jadeanne mentioned you used Photoshop for the effects on some of your pics, but did not recall you indicating the program you used. Is it in fact Photoshop, or another program? I especially liked how your added the short hair and the beard to the one of you reading!! ..OO..
I recall, very vaguely (and the actual event is lost on the old hard drive on my old computer--and the much less faithful softdrive keeping my ears from slamming together) a freeware or shareware program that was suggested, but I can't recall if it was on the CDDF or here? Anybody recollect such a critter?

Hi all,

Carolynn,

Thanks for the kind words. 8)

I use a program called ClickArt-ClickEdit, which I bought for $4.97 at the local Zeller's chain store. It's a good balance between ease of use and full features. I tried PhotoShop and the Corel suite but, short of attending a three-year university course on these programs, I can't see how a relative newbie at graphics manipulation could ever get a handle on everything they have to offer.

I know there is some excellent freeware graphics software out there; a Google search should sniff them out for you.

As I was telling Tea-Cake and a few others, I don't want to just take pictures; I try to create a mood, an ambiance, a feeling. I play mostly with hue, saturation, gamma, and contrast levels. Sometimes, I go for an artistic effect (oil painting, light filters, charcoal, etc.). I enjoy playing with images a lot.

By the way, everything about the "Boy Mode Bookworm" photo is "as is," except for the tiny, tiny glint I added to my left pupil, so that it would match the one in my right (it made me look sleepy otherwise--which I guess I was, actually, when the photo was taken). The photo was sent to me by my ex-GF, who'd already had it developed in sepia tones.

Love,
CJ

Hi all,

Lorna,

Thanks for the compliments. 8) You know, I've always enjoyed your photos, too. You have a pixie-ish air about you that's very becoming, especially in the shots from 2002, where you're sitting down and looking up into the camera. I just love those pix! Keep 'em coming! (And I'm looking forward to more "Pine" photos, too.) Oh, and cool avatar, Lorna!

Ahzz (How do you pronounce your name, by the way? "Ash"? "Oz"? Just curious.),

The forum's Photo Gallery is accessible through the front page (the first page you see when logging on to www.crossdressers-haven.com). Just click on "Our Photo Gallery" instead of "Discussion Forum." As it's an area entirely separate from the discussion board, you need to create a separate account for it, with a username and password that can be the same or different as the ones you use here, for the forum. If you don't do so, you'll be faced with the inevitable "No image to display" notice. Happy viewing! (Bring Jassmine along for the ride, eh!)

Love,
CJ

What can I say, you're looking as lovely as you always have. The camera just seems to love certain people. :P

I've been planning to post my own pictures since the day I joined and that's far too long ago, but for some reason I just never do that. Silly me!

Hi all,

Well, I've gone and done it: in order to give myself more room on the gallery, I've pulled all my pix, resized them, and put them back up again. Unfortunately, doing this also caused all your kind comments to be deleted. I just wanted you all to know that I've greatly appreciated each and every one of them--they were a major boost to a girl a bit unsure of herself. And, well, to a guy unsure, too, I guess.

I've put a few older shots back up, as well as some new ones. Bonus: there's a photo of my mom--the most beautiful and kindest woman in the world. 8) Double-bonus: even with 31 photos on the gallery, I now still have room for about 15 more (I plan to grow!).

Again, my deep gratitude to all for your past comments. Image

Oh, of course you're still welcome to visit my gallery. No more deleting from now on. Promise! :P

Love,
CJ

CJ,

Knowing your admiration for brevity.

You look beautiful. I mean just like a beautiful woman. That has to come from the inside before it can be expressed externally.

Love always,
Elizabeth
