Lesson Learned

Well today is Sunday and I desided to dress, first time in about 6weeks.
Being Sunday an out I put on a nice dress and heels my makeup the whole 9 yards. So my loving wife saids since Carol Ann is here today I want the kitchen sweep and mopped. "After I change later on today" NO NOW and in your dress and heels. Who writes those TV ads where women mop and clean in a dress and heels? Not as easy as it looks on TV with 4" heels on. Oh did I learn a lesson today

That's funny! Thanks for sharing! I'm wondering if the next time you get dressed if you are going to ask your wife before hand if there is any housework that needs to be done?
Hugs,

Carol Ann,
You survived it! I have done the same thing, but add vaccuming in heels to the mix. Actually it is good practice. A way to work on your feminine presentation so it ain't all bad.
Love,
Deborah

Carol Ann,
It is interesting what one can learn by walking in some one's else's shoes, and you very literally did that.
Keep on walking girl.

Beware when you change back to male mode , she might want you start mowing the lawns and all the other male chores.

lol.. great thread!
My wife did something similar. She went in to work today and she came home after I dressed.
She asked what was for dinner. I told her I didn't know. She then said since I was dressed (pretty much what Carol Ann's wife said). So I told her ok, since that's the way things are then, "I'm hungry. Go get me something to eat."

Of course I lost that.
Thanks for the thread Carol Ann!

I went (female) shoe-shopping about six months ago, for the first time in months. I didn't have a particular style in mind, or need them for an outfit; I just needed to get out and buy a pair of shoes. I ended up coming home with a pair of silver strappy sandals, something left-over from the holiday season. I tried them on instore, and fell in love with them. I hadn't worn really high heels in a very long time, and they felt wonderful.
I took them home, and measured the heels: 4.5 inches!

The highest I had ever worn previous were 3", and the idea of wearing anything higher was mind-boggling. I'd made up my mind, though. I decided to wear them every chance I got, even if only around the house. Once, I spent a couple of hours puttering around the apartment, cleaning. I did the dishes, vacuumed, dusted, cleaned the bathroom. It was kinda fun, but also very tiring. I don't think I'll ever understand those girls with the French Maid fantasies.
Back to the shoes. I'd love to wear them out sometime, but I don't have a similarly flashy outfit.

Great topic! I often do housework all decked out, what else is there to do at times? However my wife recently discovered heel marks in the hardwood floor in front of the sink and I am banned from wearing them upstairs!! She wasn't mad tough I still do the dishes, only in sandals.
