Hiya Girls, I finally got my panties out of a bind and went to Walmart this morning enfeme. My goal was to buy dounuts while dressed in a white satin skirt and white sweater, and black patent strapped heels. I couldn't believe it I was shaking like a white leaf, smilin but shaking, I was definitely read by the clerk, she was very nice, I dropped some change into one of the bags and she rushed around to help me find it. If I was just a regular guy I know she wouldn't of reacted so quickly ,if at all. Still flying pretty high on this one. this is so cool. I can't believe how my heart was pounding and nothing went wrong at all. I'll remember this day for sure, I'm going to wear this oufit for the reat of the day. I like this feeling , why don't kow but wasn't that wonderful. TA DA ..... Kristen

Beauty, when I was walking towards the register, the cashier was walking from the other direction, she stopped smiled at me ,I said good morning and she spoke to another employee and the employee looked right at me then smiled at the cahier and said something. I was treated with respect so I don't care if i was read or not, I'll be going to other places this week too. I got my panties out of a bind and I like it. Not sure what's next , but I need to get over the shakes. Kristen

Way to go, Kristen !

I envy you. So far I've managed to drive to and from my SO's housw - safely garage to garage. Stopped for gas once. Not a soul around, but my heart was pounding anyway. A shop is next. I'd love to buy a pair of shoes and actually try them on.

You've given me courage.

Lets hear more of your exploits.

Willy, Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad I can be an inspiration to you. It's been a long, long road and without the help of Elizabeth, Brianna, Sophie, Beauty, and all , I would of never ventured out on my own. We are all trying to do the same be accepted and not ridiculed, I don't mind being read and smiled at, or even pointed at. I am just a guy in dress looking for acceptence. I don't expect approval just acceptence. Courage comes from within, hope I can help you find it.
Are you driving with your SO or alone, during the day, or at night. Are you comfortable with the way you look, does your SO give you advice on how to put on makeup and dress, walk? One step at time and you'll get enough courage to do anything . Questions ,questions, questions.

Sophie, I noticed that my first paragraph in my post, in your thread is missing. I'll see if I can remember it. and repost it.

It's great that you did well. Going shopping en femme is my favorite sport! When you go out again, your presentation will improve and you will get better and better with every additional time! It is quite possible that the only thing that gave you away was your obvious case of nerves. When you get used to going out, they will disappear and going out will be as easy as pie (whatever that means :) )

Kristen,
Isn't it such a rush??!! I guess that eventually the anticipation goes away, I hope not. I do so enoy the feeling of interacting and the nervousness that accompanies it! Another ambassador is "ON the Road, Again!!"
Rock on girl!!!

Go, Kristen! You'll be out there again, soon enough, and you won't be shaking so much, if at all. If you're enjoying yourself, other people seem to like seeing you come around.

Lisa , I was so nervous that i couldn't get my change back into my purse. I willbe glad when I settle down some, the lighting is so bright in Walmart that I was afraid my beard was showing up. I looked fine other wise, myskirt was somewhat a see thru, with backlighing. I thought I would like that but it just made me a little more nervous. business suit next time. Thank you for your encouragement. And I would like some of that pie, not a big slice though, I need to watch my girlish figure.

Virginia, It is a big, big rush, I hope that I can handle myself better and not get so nervous. I like the way I am treated when dressed it is far, far, better than when in male mode. I have always been on the nervous side, I had to take my drivers test 4 times before I passed, way too nervous. Thanks for your comments.

Keep smilin, keep dressin and keep postin.....Kristen

Kristen,

WOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

I just could not be happier for you, and I also fumbled my change into my change area of my girls wallet. I know the exhuberance, and the wonderful feeling of being accepted as a human being.

It does get easier, but sometimes for reasons that are unclear to me I will still get really nervous, but most of the time I am perfectly at ease.

Again, my heart just leaps with joy for you.

Love always,
Elizabeth
