Shopping with Mum

I hope you don't mind me posting, just yesterday I went shopping with my Mum for clothes and stuff. The rain stopped as we got there and started just as we got on the bus to go home
I ended up buying a load of lil bits like bracelets, rings and stuff but at first I was a lil bit uneasy, walking around with my hands in my pockets

but later on I was just sorting through the clothes myself
I got a lil blue checked skirt, a knee length frilly peach skirt, a 70s style light pink dress, pink frilly top and a denim zipup cat suit. The two skirts I have nothing that really goes with it and the pink dress is sooo nice but very very short so I don't think I'll be wearing that much
My Mum said she had a dress like that in the 70s, she was so cool helping me out. When we had something to eat she was going, I've got a load of nice tops at home I'll have to show you, I think you'll like them.
So I'm going over my Mums on Tuesday and then going in town with my Mum on Thursday to try and find some tops
One thing I noticed in the shops we went in, there was hardly any dresses

Next time we are going in town were we live so Mum knows all the shops for bargains
*hugs*

Hi Sophie, sounds like you had a great day. Your mum is great!
I know what you mean about feeling a little uneasy. My first shopping trip with my wife I was the typical bored husband standing off to one side and thinking about football ... inside thinking they'll all know I'm CD. lol. Soon I was picking out tops and skirts from the racks and shouting across the shop "Cath what do you think of this" and having things like "do you think Mandy would like this?" shouted across at me. Good fun!

Take an overseas shopping trip to this part of the world our shops are full of dresses , I see ruffle dresses everywhere and short frilly or 3 layer ruffle skirts are really in.
Spring fashions comming up to Summer .
Your outing with your mum would have been awsome Sophie.

I can't believe your mom is so supportive, it must feel great.
My mom knows that I dress, but we don't go shopping for my fem clothes together. I am happy for you, it all sounds like so much fun.
Love Amelie

Sophie,
I'm glad you had a good shopping trip with your mother. It's great to have a knowing GG to guide you. I'm fortunate enough to have a loving, supporting wife.
Please keep us posted on the shopping you do. I like to read of other forum members' shopping adventures.

Sophie, I was wondering when you were going to post of this shopping trip, I am so glad for you. Tops, skirts, braceletts and rings. Sugar and spice and everything nice. Your Mum is the greatest Mum in the world. What a fine gal she is, must of been pretty cool having lunch with her and talking all that girl stuff. I am so happy for you!!!!!!!
We need to see all the stuff you bought. You know it would be nice to see a picture of this fine fine lady. Think she would mind a picture posted of her. Just a thought, your Mum is the greatest. THANKS MUM, ................Kristen

Kristen, I don't think my Mum would mind a pic of her up here, I have a few pics of Mum on my PC so I might upload one

Better ask her first.
Mum did make me feel like a girl actually which was cool, I kept asking her if she was alright with me buying stuff and she was cool, like I say I'm going over Mums on Tuesday cos she has a laod of clothes she wants to show me. Including a little black dress she says she never wears anymore
Amanda, that's just what I was like, started off pretending I didn't want to be in there but I then got a bit annoyed cos I wanted to be looking at the clothes so we went into New Look and I just said to Mum sod this, and I just started looking at the clothes myself saying, do you like this Mum?
Super cool, I can't wait to go in town later this week, I just want to buy a blue sweater that's all. Mum did also say that she wants to see photos of my new outfits as well

Sophie, That would be so wonderful, I would like that very much. Yes, better ask first.
You do know that just about everyone is envius of you, not me of course, yeah right. Your Mum is probably going to be the most famous GG on this forum, even if you don't post a picture. Please let her know that this American boy(sometimes looks like a girl) thinks that Margaret Thatcher is just another Englishwoman , but your Mum is the greatest EnglishMUM. She has my vote always.
So have you had any more nose bleeds, hope not?
.......Your bootin Gal Pal......Kristen

Hiya Kristen,
My Mum will say no I am sure as she hates having her photo taken

I have a nice lil pic of her I'll ask her later today and if she says yeah I will upload it.
No more nose bleeds but still got the runny noses

Don't matter, worse things can happen. Gotta go Dr tomorrow to have another blood test clod thingy, I hated it last time left me with a massive black mark on my arm!

Acceptance is so nice when it comes from those we are closest to. Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if everyone could experience that kind of acceptance?
