Mysterious Facial Phenomenon

Post by Maggie »

I have discovered that my transformation into a convincing woman requires a lot more than make-up. My entire facial expression must become feminized in ways that I cannot do on purpose. When it happens, I look like a real woman - an entirely different person. When it doesn't happen, all I see is my male self in drag.

I am not just imagining this: it is an objective phenomenon that I have recorded in photographs. (For example, see my most recent photo, below, which shows my feminine transformation.) There have been other times when the pictures were awful. (I will spare you the ordeal of seeing those.)

This change only comes when I have become totally absorbed in my female character and have convinced myself that I really am a woman. It doesn't happen when I am overly tired or in the wrong mood. Luckily, I have been able to make the transformation successfully when I am getting ready for public performances.

Have any of you noticed the same facial phenomenon in yourselves?

Maggie,
I know the feeling! It is or was infrequent and has virtually gone away as far as I can tell, but there were a few times in the past that Virginia just was not Virginia. It could have been that she was prodding me to do better and help her look nicer or it was just a gentle reminder where she was coming from and where she wanted to go. i had not really reflected on it until you brought it up and I thought about it. One time in particular, "we" had a movie planned and after I dressed and looked in the mirror, 'she" did not like what she saw I could really feel it. So we started over -needless to say we missed the movie, but the second time the mirror reflected the woman she wanted to be. We ended up just ridding around but in a very contented state.

Hi Maggie--
The facial change needs to happen for me, and if it doesn't, I end up having to go out anyway--but not very happy about it. What I like about the pictures that work for me is this difference in facial expression, too.

I used to wonder when the transformation happened, and I thought that the wig did it. But nowadays I don't wear a wig more of the times out, so the change is coming in sooner? From a different source? (Anita shrugs her shoulders.)
