did you ever notice- that when you get a run in pantyhose that other leg will not run -i mean you could run a file over that other leg it just will not run.

When I restarted dressing 2 1/2 years ago after 33 years off, I started with pantyhose and wrecked the first couple of pairs pretty quickly.

I very soon became a garter girl (I'm a child of the 50s). I have a few pairs of special pantyhose, but it's stockings for me most of the time.

My wife wears pantyhose usually only to church and the dressy occasions. She will wear a pair until any run or hole becomes visible, then it's mine for wearing under my fishnet pantyhose until I feel like getting rid of it.

Oh how I hate that word "runs" , Me I have a big problem with pantyhose so like Jadeanne I wear thigh hi's or stockings. Will admit I like stockings but a garder belt is hell so I usually go with the thigh hi"s. Carol Ann

Well do like I do and just cut the bad leg off the panty hose, you will soon have another pair that runs in one leg, cut if off too. You will now wear the 2 together as one pair, 2 good legs and double tummy support. Of course you have to have the same colors!!

Panty hose are to expensive to throw away when you just get one bad leg..

I was a hose person, then went to stockings/thigh highs, but now I'm back to hose as they are convenient and practical for me.

My wife isn't interested in saving the one good leg pairs and doubling them up, but since I'm the recipient of her rejects, I might give it a try. Lately she has been buying multipacks of the same color.

I do wear her rejects a few times to keep in practice for the times I wear my good ones.

I have only one decent garter belt (a Crownette) and usually wear an open bottom girdle, open bottom body briefer, bustier, waist cincher, or corset to hold up my stockings.

When I wear the garter belt, it seems to need more readjustments than the other things. My hips are smaller than my waist.
