To all the Girls involved in this forum,
If a Genie magically appeared and offered you the opportunity to become the woman you would be now had you been born a girl ( complete with all family memories as a girl ) would you accept and live the remainder of your life as a Lady?
Please answer as candidly as you can.

Jan W,
You know I have seen the question many times "would you become a real girl if you could?". But this certainly is a new twist. While I am a full time dresser and have repeatedly said I would want to be a girl if someone could wave a magic wand and make me a real girl, I would not want to change who I am. All of my life experiences make me who I am, and without them I would be someone else.
While I admit life has been a struggle. This struggle has had many small victories along the way. I could not wish my children away. I love them so much. Or my memories of playing and writing music in various bands playing various kinds of music from country to rock and everything inbetween. My career as an electrician, and owning my own business. Traveling and living all over the country.
But mostly, my father sexually abused all four of my sisters from the time they were very young, and destroyed who they would have been. He also destroyed the self esteem of my three brothers and me, but I always felt lucky compared to them. And had I been born a girl, that would have been my fate too.
So my answer is no. I love who I am. And what my life experience has made me. And I would not give that up to live some other uncertain life, just to be a girl.
Love always,
Elizabeth

No. I've never had any problem with my male self.

I would become a woman in a heartbeat. This is a no brainer for me

I agree with Elizabeth. I would not change because my life experiences as a male are part of who I am.
However, if I could change back and forth between male and female with no lasting effects on my male self that would be ok.
