I'm brand new here, also. I just joined on January 16. I'm a married heterosexual crossdresser. My wife knows of my interest, and is tolerant, but she's not into it herself. However, she has made most of my slips, and helps me to shop for panties, bras, nylon hose, etc. She has also made me some cocktail dresses and evening gowns.
I just love to wear beautiful feminine clothes. I especially love panties (I definitely prefer Vanity Fair brief panties with lace trim. I like my panties to be thin, delicate, lace trimmed, and silky), slips (I prefer full slips with lace trim at bodice and hem, but I also love beautiful little half-slips with lavish lace. I like my slips to be made of charmeuse or satin.), cocktail dresses, and evening gowns. I love to wear fluffy petticoats with my cocktail dresses or evening gowns. I like my skirts just below the knee (other than evening gowns which, of course should be floor length.
Naturally, I also wear high heels and hose (I like thigh top hose, with or without garter belts, rather than panty hose.).
Sometimes, I like to dress completely. Other times, I like to just hang around the house in my slip. Sometimes, hardly anything can be more luxurious than just going back to bed in my pretty slip (with panties and bra, naturally).
Since I never go out, while dressed, I make no real effort to pass as female. I rarely wear make-up (and then, usually just lipstick), and don't even own a wig.
I'm perfectly happy being a man, and never wish to be a real female. I'm past middle age, still slender and athletic, and do lots of macho type things, and always have. Occasionally (tho, rarely), I will wear panties under my male attire.
Like most of you, I started crossdressing at an early age. My very first experience with it was when I was five or sixe (probably five). I had tried on my mothers pink nylon helf-slip, and got caught. I've been hooked on crossdressing ever since.
Also, since before I got married, I have been fascinated by wetlook. After we were married, I persuaded my wife to pose for pictures while wearing anything skirts and blouses to shirtwaist dresses, to tailored suites, to cocktail dresses and evening gowns, and getting soaked in the shower, the bathtub, at the lake, etc. It was a real turn-on for me, if not for my wife.
Naturally, being a crossdresser, I got to wondering what it would be like to get all wet while wearing such beautiful clothes. Also naturally, I just couldn't resist finding out. Wow! What a turn-on it was! It was delightful seeing a waterline halfway up my skirt (and knowing that my lovely slip was getting soaked, too), or feeling my skirt swirling around my legs underwater, etc. I guess it's a forbidden fruit type of thing.
I'm sure that most won't be interested in wetlook (and feel), but I hope that I'll hear from any of you who are interest in any of the things I've mentioned. Especially, I'd like to hear from those girls who especially love full slips, cocktail dresses and evening gowns (prom dresses etc,).

Why dont you come to Scotand, you can explore the wetlook without stepping in the shower.
I like all the things you mentioned. When I was younger, before I became a portly middle aged cross-dresser, I used to hire ball gowns and prom style dresses just to wear at the weekend.
Im not sure though if the T&C's of the hire would have stretched to wetlook antics.
