How many pairs of women's shoes do you own?
I have 8 pair, one pair being a pair of boot. None having less than a 3" heel.

Hi DonnaT!
14 pair including one calf length boot pair and one ankle boot pair, and walking shoes, ranging from flats to one pair of 5 inch heels I bought cheap just to see what they felt like. I do understand the reluctance of the GGs when it comes to wearing them. Three inch is really too high for my comfort. Prefer flats or no more than 1 5/8 inch, but have worn 2 1/2 for most of a day a few times too without too much trouble. On the other hand, I have three pair of drab shoes, one for everyday casual, one pair for a suit, and one pair of boots for the field. That's at least one pair too many. Go figure!

I have only 2 pairs of womens' shoes. I do have shoes that are uni-sex, I can wear them when in male mode or in fem.

I recently moved and did not realize how many pairs of shoes, boots and sandals I actually own. I counted them then and I had 70 pairs and have since bought 10 more. They pretty much run the gammut as far as styles, I feel each outfit must have the perfect pair of shoes to complete it.
Hugs,
Stef

Great idea for a thread!
So one one of the greatest tricks I played on myself to keep me a cd'd slave to my home was not get any shoes. Back in the mid 90s I got a lovely pair from a store. A few years later I threw them out.

Oh gawd were they great shoes too.
The next time I got shoes was at the end of the 90s. I don't know how many pair I have, but I think it's like a dozen or so.
70!!!!! LOL!!! You're my idol!!!

I have 17 pairs of women's shoes, including four pairs of boots in different styles. The rest run the gamut from sneakers to sandals. I have one pair of "unisex" boots (from WalMart - the box listed both a man's and woman's size). My lone pair of men's shoes was a gift from my parents.

I have 11 pairs of womens shoes, all pumps with heel heights from 1 1/4 inch to 2 1/2 inches. I felt like describing each pair, but I already did that in my "What Are You Wearing Today" thread as I described the shoes as part of my outfit of the day.
I also have 2 pairs of animal print slippers.

Hi all,
Stef! Seventy pairs!!?!? Ouch! And I thought I was bad (or good, depending on your point of view

). Wow!
I have about three dozen pairs (including boots). Most are pumps with 2 or 3 inch heels. Some are sandals and flats. A few are "fantasy" footwear (one, a pair of 7 inch platforms--a photo of which I posted elsewhere on the forum). I now own two pairs of old-fashioned velvet lace-up "Granny" boots as well as a few 70's-style slip-on or side-zippered vinyl knee-length boots. Like Amélie, I also own a few rather androgynous shoes (with very low heels) that I usually wear with my best women's slacks and blouses when out and about in "pseudo-drab." These shoes have very short uppers that afford anyone who cares to look a glimpse of my stockings or pantyhose. Whenever I need something from the
dépanneur (the convenience store) across the street, I usually just slip on a pair of palazzo pants and wear my sandals (with one and a half inch heels), the better to showcase my pretty toenails.

They know what I do for a living, and my being, uh, "unconventionally clad" has got them scratching their heads.
Love,
CJ

unfortunately I have no girl shoes. I have really wide feet, and it's hard to get a decent fiting pair of male shoes let alone stuff for going enfemme.

Hi girls.
I have five pairs, but I could easily see myself becoming a "Stef". It is only because money is tight right now that I only own 5 pairs. I drool when I go by the womens shoe stores they have in the malls. The ones with all beautiful colorful shoes. I want them all. I could see myself buying shoes whenever I can afford it in the future. I don't see how I could ever have enough shoes. For me, shoes are to suit not just an outfit, but a mood.
Love always,
Elizabeth

I have 10 pairs of women’s shoes, with heel-heights ranging from 2¼" to 3½" and widths of D, wide, or extra-wide.
Hush Puppies (link) sells a variety of women’s shoes that are attractive (in my opinion), that are comfortable, and that come in wide sizes.
One thing that I learned the hard way was that it is important to buy shoes that fit. Buying shoes that are too short or too narrow does not make your feet look “daintier” (to any noticeable degree), but it
does make your facial expression look as if someone has your toes in a vice.
