Hi all,

in the thread "How Many . . . ?" http://crossdressers-forum.com/forums/v ... 6&start=16

Just don't ask how many wigs.
OK, Connie I'm not going to ask you, but I would like to ask everyone else on the forum (Connie, you're certainly welcome to answer if you would like to).

Since I'm asking, I will be the first to answer:

I have 5, with my first one a wavy midlength bleached blonde Marilyn Monroe style that I bought from a costume shop,

the second one short curly ash blonde That I bought from Blair,

the third a 24 inch straight black witch wig that was $2 from a family Dollar store a couple of Halloweens ago,

the fourth and fifth I bought from a Paula Young catalog at the same time, a midlength curly honey blonde Sapphire style with pale blonde tips, and a strawberry blonde short updo Brussels style with pale blonde tips.

How many wigs do you have and what colors/styles are they?

Enquiring minds would like to know.

Hi Jadeanne,

I have 5 too. All of them are at least shoulder length. I have one that's a little down the back. I try to keep the same color (red-ish brown).

I have about 15 wigs, all are very similar in style. They have bangs in the front and are sort of like "China Doll" wigs in different lengths.
I have:
3-pure white wigs
1-Black
1-bright red
1-black and white combo
1-orange
1-auburn
1-light brown
5-platinum blonde
And 1-pink wig, which was the wig I had on when I first came to this site.

I have also destroyed about ten other wigs, by either putting to much laquer hair spray in them or giving them a bad haircut. Also I had a couple stolen from me by friends who borrowed them and they never returned them, I guess it was for the better, I wouldn't like to have worn the wigs after my friends had worn them.

I'm almost afraid to reply to this thread especially after admitting how many pairs of shoes I own. Please keep in mind that I model wigs and get paid for modeling sessions with wigs and any other styles I want for myself I get at cost. Having said all that I will admit that I have 87 wigs.

Hugs,
Stef

Heh Stef,

Where does one keep 87 wigs? How and where do you store them? :)

I have 10 styrofoam heads that I keep the ones I wear on a regular basis on, the others I have stored in ziplock bags in a plastic storage box in my closet.

Stef

Hi Stef,

My wife now loves the wig I got from you the best. :) It's the one I wear the most. I totally recommend them to EVERYONE! :)

Wowie!!!!! :) 87 wigs!!! You could open your own store?
:P

In fact, there may be some wig shops with fewer floor samples!!! :P

Love, Carolynn

Oh yeah, I have 16 wig head forms and 22 wigs. I rarely wear them as I find them uncomfortable for the most part, and have let my hair grow out. Many I bought relatively cheaply to see what the style would look like on me, with an eye toward finding "my" style. Still looking  ! Would really like to find a source for the pull-through type for adding to my hair where I am a bit thin. Most normal hair pieces don't quite fill the bill due to clip locations. ***huh***

Gee stef 87 wigs, sure glad I don't have to put curlers in all of them.
I only have two, the one in my avatar which the wife doesn't like at all. The other is a shoulder length light brown which the wife saids is more to my age and looks. At present I am looking around for a salt and pepper color which is more natural for a women of 66. Yes ladys Carol Ann is an old broad :( and the wife saids I should look more my age. Damn I didn't think I looked that old,oh well. (--) Carol Ann
