Pretty Spring clothes

In our Saturday paper was a "catalogue" from Stein Mart "Spring Arrivals."
It was not the cost of the outfits, but the outfits themselves. Pretty, pretty, pretty!!! The spring outfits are sooooo feminine. Bright pastels, frilly, soft, airy skirts (above the knee), big prints and flowers, white on white lace trim pant suits. Maybe we can get away from jeans and torn sweat shirts????

Virginia: I saw the same type of thing in Goody's and Fashion Bug Today. But did not have the nerve to buy anything today. Did buy two dresses from Goodwill thou. But too many woman looking at me in Goody's. Gee.

Went into fashion bug yesterday also, and they do have some pretty spring fashions. My wife had to drag me out of the store

Got a Coldwater Creek catelog also. Very pretty spring fashions.

I love pastel colors!

Gee, you have got to get over folks looking at you. No one is going to say anything and even if they do, justsay they are an investment and have they ever heard of E-Bay??Once the girl at the check-out said something about the dresses I was buying and I just said that my wife has a new sewing machine and she works wonders. Another time I quipped about a spot on a skirt and the fact that my dry cleaner can do wonders on spots like that, she knocked $1.00 off the price anyway. As for shoes I have not had much luck wih shoes at Goodwill myself.

Donna, I know the feeling - I just love going through the racks at Goodwill, as you know it is like a treasure hunt :) :) . Our store here does getsome new items from local stores that are soiled or "out of style?" with the tags still on them.. All the "soiled" items I have bought were just minor and I was able to get the spot out with no trouble.
Shop on girls!!!!!

You're absolutely right, Virginia! :)

This spring we can definitely look for lots of bright colors and pretty feminine styles. It's also no secret that lime green is a very hot color this Spring.

Hi all,

The style page of the Sunday paper says the trend is to knee length pleated skirts (all the better to wear petticoats under) in pastels and florals, more ruffles - YAY ..^..

I love those styles - stay at home Jadeanne will eventually find them in the thrift stores and closeout web pages.

Hi all,

I also studied the catalogues and ads, that show what is "in" this spring and summer. I could rush out of home into the next store and buy, buy, buy...
Unfortunately there are reasonable (and financial) limitations on that. But I can't await to see the outfits in "nature", but currently it is too cold here, so I have to wait for a few weeks.

I hope I can do a shopping-trip with my wife and get some nice new outfits for me and her.

A sweatshirt with a black pleated skirt hem at the knee looks cool I think. =D>

Girls can be tom boys: boys can be jane girls.
I prefer it to crossdresser or transvestite.

Just my choice !
