Open our local paper today, Friday- and in the second section - headline is a picture of a kid putting on a "coconut bra" and others in the background being made-up and a second picture of some brunette allover some older guy ( turns out to be his father). Headline: "Pageant lets guys get in touch with their soft, feminine side" Turns out it is an annual event at a local high school where seniors are encouraged to dress up and preform on stage. Quarter of a page on front and inside three more pictures and yet another quarter of the page. "Josh had wanted to be in the pageant ever since he saw it in his freshman year." "Josh a former member of the school's football team, shed his nervousness and came alive." "Eve" said his friends persuaded him to be in the pageant. His one fear was that his friends at the (local Fire Department where he volunteers) would find out about it."
"The show is always put on by seniors. Getting students to participate is hardly a problem,....We'er surprised at how many guys enjoy doing this." (Virginia - OH really????!!!!) "It gives an opportunity for some of the males to express themselves in an unusual way..."
AS an aside the article right next to this high school crossdressing pageant:
"Church Seeks God's Will" :-k :-k :-k
Small steps, girls, small steps!
Love,
Virginia

Hi,

That's so awesome. I was in a lot of school plays and never once did I get to dress as a gal, meanwhile all the other guys had chances. !!tongue!!

Ooops.. about the article. I think they are very lucky guys to be able to express that side of them, even if it is just for fun. :)

Thanks for posting about the story Virginia! :) (lol.. when I proofread this I had called you Darlene. Darn you two twins!)
