The Blond wig

Hi girls,

Image
************Elizabeth*****************************************Raven(SO)*******************

I just can't say how well things are going for me and Raven(SO). We get along so well, and we have the same sense of humor. We spend a lot of time each day laughing our a$$'s off.

Here we are taking turns with the wig and camera. Raven said I looked good in the wig and should consider wearing them, although she prefers my natural hair color for a wig.

I just can not say how nice it is to have such a supporting SO who actually thinks I look good no matter what I am wearing, or if I have makeup on or not.

Anyways....... Cheers!!!

Hey Elizabeth,

While you certainly look very happy, I think the picture on the right is prettier. :P ^@^
But I expect that if you are the wise person I think you are; you will probably agree with me.

Love,
Darlene.

Hi Elizabeth,

i agree with Darlene - the right pic is better. I guess it is due to the makeup.
In the left pic you see flash reflections, on the right pic your makeup covers the shiny skin much better. Therefore your face on the right pic looks much softer, so you look more female and younger. Well this is why most women use makeup - not just we.

Your new wig fits you well. But I am no "Pro" in wigs - I just have my natural hair.

Be proud of the right pic - as far as I can remember, it is the best pic i have seen from you.
And of course be proud you have the best partner you could get. Hug her as much as you can - she is worth it.

Hey girls,

Yes, I totally agree!! Raven looks great, it's no contest. I just love how she can totally have fun with this, and not take life too serious.

BTW, I messed up when I posted the pictures, by not identifying myself and Raven(SO). I forgot that many here do not know me and Raven(SO), who is pictured on the right. I will correct this, and I apologize for any confusion I may have caused.

I have put the wig on before and as many of you know, have not really felt that comfortable wearing a wig. But she put the wig on and I took a few pics of her, then I put it on.

This is when she told me that she really liked it, and that if I had one in my color and curliness, it would look real good. So I am now considering perhaps wearing a wig for a while, and try it out. Opinions are welcome here. I know I look like a balding man in a dress, but I am ok with that, so I understand how I really look. I won't be offended and I am curious about those of you who wear wigs, and what made you decide it was worth the trouble and discomfort?

Oh!!!!! On my best day I could never hope to look as good as my wife, who really makes me feel like a special person.

Love always,
Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth,

If you're ok not wearing a wig then I totally support you about not wearing one. If you want to try it I think you will look like quite the gal about town. :)

I respect whatever decision you make. :) You're wonderful either way. :)

Hey Elizabeth,
Yes, I totally agree!! Raven looks great, it's no contest.
I knew you were smart.

I knew who the person on the right was and I was razzing you about it.
There has got to be room for some humor sometimes.

Love Darlene.

Nice pictures, gals! Really like your eyes, in both pics.

Well, I like that wig, Elizabeth, if only for "special occasions." But I am more of a traditionalist at heart, and so tend to like a more feminine look.
You're not getting hassled by going without one, so at least you have a real choice in the matter.

Hey girls,

Darlene,

I understood your humor and found it a welcome sign of our friendship. I realized though after reading Jabbela's post that I may have confused those who have not seen mine or Raven's pictures before.

Girls,

I also ordered a new wig, that is my hair color and curly like my own hair. I am hoping I can look like myself, before I started balding. I also wore the wig out yesterday for the first time, and it really did make me feel great. Although I do have some worries about how hot they can get. It was just a brief outting so I will have to see how it goes when I am going to be out for a while.

Thanks for the encouragement and opinions.

Love always,
Elizabeth

Both pictures look great, Elizabeth, you are a great couple! I tried on Ed's wig when he got it too. Though, it wasn't a very good one, so I'm buying him a new one for his birthday, a long, straight brown one. I will do some pics too!

Love,

Paige,
Good choice. I know there are other "providers" out there, but I have four wigs at least from Paula Young and I have never been disappointed. I just recently bought a honey blonde with pale golden blonde streaks and it is beautiful and the price - It was on sale; Salon $109.00 retail $69.00 sale price $29.00 including shipping and it is nice!

HI girls,

The blond wig is a Paula Young wig. $31 out the door. shipped in a discreet non identifying box. The new one is also a Paula Young, it was $39. I don't know a lot about wigs, but it seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Love always,
Elizabeth
