Housework is fun while wearing a skirt.

When I had gotten out of bed this morning I had the desire to wear a skirt so I choose to wear my black crepe-de-chine full circle skirt which is soft swishy and very feminine to go with my mood.

I made breakfast in the kitchen with the window blind up, as it’s not really that easy to look through glass into a room of a house opposite.

I decided to clean my windows while wearing my chosen female modes and started on the kitchen windows. I would say that while I was close to the windows open or closed neighbours would not be able to tell I was wearing one of my many skirts but while going to the water and back perhaps someone at a window could tell while the windows were open.

The bathroom window is much harder to clean as it needs to be fully open and I had to stand in the bath so I could reach outside to reach out to clean it this gives a girl much difficulty and it was a little risky as someone could have looked out and seen this sissy cleaning his bathroom window while wearing a skirt. It was a lot of fun and even if it did give me these girlie problems it was well worth it to experience the difficulty a woman has while struggling balancing on a bath to reach out to clean a window while wearing a skirt. I admire the ladies who make it look so easy I curtsy to all you GG girls out there.

Next was my bedroom window, this is long and so I could be seen easily especially when I opened the window inward to clean the outside but once a girl starts something she needs to get the cleaning finished besides I was having fun. As far as I know I was not spotted but then I saw far too busy to notice.

Lastly to be cleaned was my living room windows those are below waist height and I had to move furniture to get to them. I do not think it would be that easy for people on the street to tell I was wearing a skirt but people across the road looking out a window was another matter, oh well I had to get on with it the risk was low I thought and is was fun as I had to grab my skirts to move around the TV and move stuff from the windowsill. The moment when some could catch me was when I had to lean out to reach the outside no one passed by while I cleaned the outside and I never noticed if anyone was looking out from across the street. Still I had the job done and had fun doing it so I vacuumed the carpets feeling my skirts swish around me, yes doing housework can be a joy while a Janegirl is wearing a skirt.
I am looking forward to doing more housework tomorrow

Virginia gets bit by the "domestic goddess" bug about once a week. High heels work real well to reach those hard to get to spots and they give you good practice in maintaining your feminity style going up and down stairs and bending and stooping to pick up things or reach behind a desk to pick up a bill that was suppose to have been paid two weeks earlier. Pushing a vaccuum cleaner can be a challenge in a tight skirt and heels as well, but again it is good practice for grace and style.
Did not one of our sisters once say that a clean house is next to paranoria? or was that Peoria? what ever!!!

Hi girls,

I know if I am dressed, I am more in the mood for cleaning too. The only problem is that when I do housework, I have a tendancy to sweat a lot and that causes me to have to continually toich up my makeup. In male mode I like to clean too. Thus regardless of how I am dressed (male or female), I don all the house cleaning. It's just a bit more fun to do as Steffie.

Hi Steffie,

Thanks for the reminder about what this thread is really about. It's not just about wearing a maids outfit to clean. It's cleaning en femme.

I do all the housework in my home and I don't dress for it. I just usually dress period. If I'm dressed in more of my male attire then I'm dressed in more of my male attire or visa-versa. My mom never got made up or put on heels to clean the house either. Since she kind of trained me to be a house husband maybe I got it from her?
I wouldn't put on makeup or heels to do housework either. I don't think this makes me right or better, I just think it shows a difference I have with other TG'd folks on the forum. I'm in a group of people who wouldn't, but thankfully there are groups of people who would. I rejoice in them and I'm happy to have people who relate with me.
((G))
Thanks again Steffie. :)

When I started dressing again, two years ago, I'd put on heels to do my housework, just to get used to standing/walking in them. Sometimes I do my laundry very late at night, and I'll wear them to run my loads back and forth between my apartment and the basement (three flights of tall, steep stairs!). It's a very exhilarating workout.

Cleaning house while dressed is the only way to go, but be warned don't
try and mop floors in heels. I just love my new maids outfit and enjoy wearing it but I don't want to get it dirty. Now how would a person clean it?
I'm not taking it to the cleaners  ,oh the looks you would get :? (--) Carol Ann

Hi Carol,

I wash mine in the machine, gentle or delicate cycle using woolite. No problems.

I reckon it depends on the material too, but my wife made mine, so I know it's washable.

I do that sometimes too, only when the mrs. is gone and I have the whole house to myself and she leaves me the 'honey do' list.

It is fun to do housework dressed up, I don't have any maid outfits or anything but a skirt and a blouse works just fine. :P

Hi all,

It is fun to do everything in the house in feminine clothing. In my place I am in feminine clothing 24/7 and love it.

Hi all,

I find myself more likely to do some housework when I'm wearing femme clothing, chiefly taking laundry off the indoor clotheslines in the cellar and putting it in a basket (enjoying the sound of my heels on the concrete floor), bringing it upstairs, then folding and putting it away. I also sometimes run the carpet sweeper or vacuum cleaner.

My main maid dress is a Jessica Howard that's supposed to be dry clean only, but my wife machine washes it on the gentle cycle and line dries it. We have never had a dryer, and my wife thinks that's the main reason our clothes last a long time.
