First time out in heels...

Since I've told my mother about my CDing, I've been able to wear some of my more femme clothes around the house. This includes my favorite and very comfortable mid-calf, side zip boots. Well, usually I change into my walking shoes (men's) before going into town for my weekly errands. Today I just grabbed my keys, got in the car and went. I had on a gray t-shirt with my A-cup forms in my bra, black jeans that are rather form fitting with a bit of a sheen to the material and my boots.
I stopped at the Agway store for some grass seed (one of my "man" projects), then to the drug store, bank and, finally, grocery shopping. At the Agway store, I was waited on by the owner who has been a friend of the family for many years. We chatted for a few minutes and he didn't seem to notice my "attire" at all. I did notice one guy in the drug store who seemed to do a double-take

but I just went about my business. Then I had to stand in line to check out at the grocery store. If anyone noticed they did a good job of keeping it to themselves.
While I have done the t-shirt with forms before, this was the first time I've done the "whole package" including 3" heel boots. In fact, this is the first time I have ever worn these jeans outside of my bedroom.
It was a fun afternoon!
Love,
Kathy

Hi Kathy,
I am so happy for you, I know I was exhilerated my first time out in girls clothes even though like you, I was not all that conspicuous. It is always a wonderful feeling to have our needs met. I can only assume by your post that you are happy about your outting and so in this regard. Well done!!!!
Love always,
Elizabeth

Way to go girl! You know, people are not as observant as we sometimes give them credit for, especially if we try and blend in to look like just another GG out doing her thing! Now, if you had worn a mini with those boots??!! Well??
Keep the faith, girl
Virginia
PS: did you go out before or after you bruised my brain this morning?? I needed a hand full of asprin!

Thanks girls!

You know, I'd never have done that if I hadn't had the chance to read all your posts as well as all the others who go out regularly.
It just felt like the time was right to do it so off I went. Now, I'm not so sure the locals around here are quite ready for a man with a beard in a mini and boots.
Oh, and it was after spending the morning reading all of those brain buster threads...
Love,
Kathy

Hi Kathy--
Nothing like going out to refresh the brain cells. Sometimes it really is nice just to wear some spur-of-the-moment femme clothes, without makeup, or any other effect. That mini-skirt might be a little much, yeah.
Maybe that's the next NIGHT outing, though.

Hi Kathy,
Wow! The gals that do have greeted you really well.

Virginia, Elizabeth, and Anita. The trio who have helped me to admit I have a problem expressing myself in public. The trio I respect so much for being who they are all the time or when they want to.

The trio I hope one day will welcome me to the fold when I finally gather enough courage to just be me.
Now it looks like we've added one more beautiful person to the group.

Congratulations Kathy, from your post I think you're a wonderful addition to an already beautiful team.

That is so fantastic, Kathy!
This is exactly what I LOVE about this forum! I hope I can follow in your 3" heel footsteps soon. I want to incorporate more female outer items into my daily routines. I did just buy a pair of really nice womens jeans and plan to wear those this weekend. Hopefully I'll muster up the courage to add heels with that soon.
Thanks to all for your insight and support!!

Hi All,
Thanks again for all your support!
Beauty, just keep listening to that inner voice. When you're ready, you'll just know.
And Paulie, as Virginia is so fond of saying...small steps, just take small steps.
Love,
Kathy

I envy you all
I can't do heels at all. I sure have tried and spent more than I should on them. I have some foot problems and have to be satisfied with low-heel pumps.

congrats on the high heels !
I have a pair of pink 2 inch heeled pumps, and I just love wearing them around the house. I am still on the hunt for a pair of black (at least) 3 inch pumps, but I wouldn't rule out boots like you described either.
